The first problem with DAO Ultimate (on Steam) I had this morning was that all the DLC except for Awakening went Unauthorized.  In the course of trying to fix this, I removed my registration for the full game.  When I went to register it again, it says that the code is not valid.  Please help, what do I do to re-register the game?

As far as the Unauthorized DLC, it was working yesterday afternoon.  I made no changes to my PC since then.

I think something is up on their end honestly, cause I bought this game a few days ago and have put about 29 hours into so far with no issues...I wake up this morning and alas am having the issues you are having with everything but Awakening being Unauthorized. I have the steam version as well btw.

Well, you aren't the only one. Happened to me this morning, too.

I've been looking in the Stickies all morning.  Where exactly does it talk about problems Registering the game in my profile on the Bioware Social Network?  Do I need to contact EA Support, or Bioware?

I've now spent the last 2 hours trying to resolve the problem with all my DLC suddenly showing as Unauthorized! I've tried all the suggested solutions I could find (the Dragon Age Origins Content Updater service runs fine; patch 1.04 installed; logged out and logged into my account in-game; logged out of my account in-game, exited the game, restarted the game, logged into my account in-game; left the game running for 30 minutes in case the update service was being slow to verify ownership; restarted my PC) but nothing has worked!

The only thing I'm left with is that there must be a problem on BioWare's end of the service! This isn't the first time that something's gone wrong at BioWare's end which has resulted in everyone's DLC being displayed as Unauthorized, but it is starting to get annoying that this keeps on happening! Hopefully someone at BioWare notices this thread and actually does something about getting the problem fixed ASAP!

Just found this on the EA Support site:

We are currently experiencing issues with certain elements of our billing and registration system. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience, and are working to restore functionality to the affected games.

While our Game Advisors will be unable to assist with this particular issue, we are standing ready to help with any other concerns that you may have.

Thank you for your continued patience.

thanks for the heads up.  Tis a shame I had to spend my day off not getting to play this awesome "single player, offline" game due to some pathetic means of DRM that the company decided to implement.  But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.  Just a shame that it seems that the DRM measures taken really don't seem to be a deterrence for the so called pirates and yet they seem to be a major hinderance time and time again for the us actual paying customers.

I am terribly annoyed with the state of the Dragon Age franchise, and not too impressed with EA/Bioware. But regarding this issue, the game is/was playable offline. As long as your dlc was authorised at one point, once it's installed it's useable. Just make sure you're logged out on the front end of the game and then you can play. Nothing lost, other than a delay updating achievements online until the problem is fixed.

Unless you just happen to be really unlucky and only just bought the game, requiring the initial authentication during this outage.

I did happen to try to play offline and although all the content then was authorized and seemed good to go, when I loaded my save file, Alistair had quite the weird appearance. He's actually wearing the warden's keep armor set, which is what I had him in but the graphics of it had been corrupted, he looked like he was just wearing an abalone fret inlay around his body, lol. Upon seeing that I just exited the game and didn't even bother with anything else for fear of screwing up my saved game file. Once I heard everything was good to go last night, I checked it out again and the graphics were back to normal.
