First game was probably Space Invaders,Asteroids or Donkey Kong in the arcades. A few years later in 1981 my dad brought home our first console, the Intellivision. (awesome system that kicked Atari's butt !!) The games i got with that were Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack and Armor Battle.

It was most likely The Oregon Trail on an Apple II when I was in Preschool/Kindergarden. I don't remember exactly...I've been playing games for as long as I can remember. I know my first console was the NES...which I think I got sometime before I turned 7.
EDIT: Actually, now that I'm thinking about that...I know we had an Atari 2600 as well...

This is a hard one for me to pinpoint.
Before we had an NES or SNES, the SNES came first as we got an NES from a friend of the family, my parents both own Gameboys.

Can't remember the first game, but Metroid on the NES was pretty damn amazing for a wee little lad.

Wow, that's a difficult question for me to answer. I know I used to play an old Colecovision in my very early childhood - but I couldn't say which of the games I had for it that I played first. These are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head:
Cosmic Avenger
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr.
Popeye

I'm leaning on Donkey Kong being the first game I ever played, but I doubt I'll ever remember for certain. Most don't remember such things from when they were 2-3 years old. LOL.
