Okay, this is kinda funny.
First video game I ever played was Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 back in 1996...I was 3...
But my older brother and I loved that game, I didn't even get how to play video games, I just mashed the buttons and flailed the controller wire around while horrifically gory things happened on screen. I actually had more fun being silly with the controller than watching the game XD
oh, and it was on SNES
First game cna console you played

Intellivision was a great gaming platform

I remember on the hardest difficulty (pressing the disc) almost every organ and part of the patient was CRITICAL, he would drop dead in a matter of minutes, and were left with this huge bill !!

Probably Mario Bros on the NES. I broke my leg when I was five and they had it in the hospital. This would be back in...89? Yeah. 1989.

Well, I had a TRS-80 (known as the Trash-80) from Radio Shack. I forgot what game it was called but I remember having to enter in the program 10....20.....30.....etc.
But it was hogged by my brother mostly. I then got to play the Intellevision for a summer over my cousins. There were quite a few games so I don't know which one was first.
But later that year my brother and I received an Atari and I loved Gunslinger, Adventure, and Breakout. My brother loved Asteroids and Spaced Invaders.
I couldn't say which game exactly I played first. We had quite a few.
I'm sad to say though, last year, my dad got rid of the old Atari and the games (complete with boxes and manuals), he just gave it away to a local resale shop.
I know. I know. But I didn't find out till after the fact.

I don't even know the name of it. Some ancient computer game where clowns would climb up a ladder, walk a tightrope and fall and you'd have to pan a trampoline left and right to catch them otherwise they'd splat.

That would be Creatures on the Commodore 64.
I had an atari 2600 round the same time as my C64. I think my first games on that were Battlezone, Centipede.

Actully I think of it the first Console game I played was the NES Monster Truck Rally.
First PC game was Command and Conquer Tiberian Dawn.
Ah yes those crappy apple games would be before C&C but meh never liked most of those, in that case its Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego

In my childhood in the 1970s I once played a haunted house game on a friends Magnovox Odyssey
then after roughly 25 years of arcades, other people's PCs (and my own ZX81) I got a Playstation and Tekken

Does a pinball machine fall within the definition of "console"? If not then it would be Pong.

Final Fantasy VII. I know, I'm a young'in when compared to some of the others in this thread. But I've emulated the SNES and played FF VI. Surprisingly, it's not as outdated today as FFVII. But maybe that's because VII's character models look like deformed blocks of Lego.
