I have been playing Dragon Age 2 for the past 2 weeks or so. I've played it no problem. I stopped for a couple days and wanted to play some more. Got a message asking me to activate my game on this computer (mac) using my EA account email. I put this in when I originally got it and it worked fine.

I put the info in and it says, every time, "Invalid email or password" I've checked my email and my password and they're correct. What is going on? Haven't been able to play it since.

Is the game fully updated??

Do you have any special characters in your email password, such as @#$%, but it should only check once on authorization.

I had patch 1.03 installed and I have no special characters in it.

Just saw a post on the DA:O forum, with a note from EA saying they are having issues with their billing/authorization system. This may be the root cause of your issue, and thus a little patience while they work it out may be in order, or you can fire off a help email to EA and see if you can get them to move a bit, that is if the issue comes back.

I was having the same issue, and went through all of the "fixes" for it. I was having very slow download speeds, so I checked my bf's computer to see if it had the same problem. He just bought BF3 and there was an Origin error message about the aforementioned authorization problems. I downloaded the Origin client since this is a fairly new system still, and the main screen that opens for Origin (has the covers for all games you own and a play button when you hover over it) allowed me to open to play DA2, no logging in or authorization BS required. If you really want to play, maybe try that and see if it works for you too. Don't want my hours of headdesking to go to waste :)
