Recently, after updating my software (iTunes and such) the plants throughout ferelden have come to hate my guts. Not in the living plant way, but in a spiky, shooting up to the sky way. Note that this does not happen in any of the major plot areas, such as the Circle tower, the were wolf ruins, or any of the dwarven areas. This only occurs in places like redcliffe (which is probably a main plot area now that I think about it) denerim and random map areas. encounters.
Things I've tried
-Turning down the graphics/textures
-Updating my drivers
- And this list woud look more complete if I had a third.
I would like to know if redownloading is available, and if so will my original activation codes still work. (I bought it off amazon).
it looks bad, but I did take the picture of the worst graphical place possible. So take it with a grain of salt. The game is still fantastically awesome, and I can man up and deal with it, but if there is a solution to the problem, I would definately love to hear it.
Thanks!

This looks suspiciously like the problems in this topic. While we suspected hardware failure there, it may very well be that the graphics drivers from the latest software update are faulty.
What version of Mac OS X are you running, and what video card do you have?
As for re-downloading, Electronic Arts currently does not support Mac OS X on their download service. I think it should be possible to download the Windows version if you register your game with the code from Amazon, but the Mac version, no luck.

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
I'm a huge noob at computers, so if this isn't what you wanted tell me.

Then it's confirmed... Intel HD Graphics 3000 drivers from 10.7.2 are bugged.
There's nothing much you can do about it at the moment (unless you are willing to downgrade your OS to 10.7.1), we'll have to wait for another software update from Apple.

How do you downgrade one's software from lion to leopard 10.7.1?

If you bought and installed Lion via the AppStore your only hope is Time Machine or your recovery partition.
Else, re-install Lion (via your USB-stick) or even Snow Leopard (via your DVD).
Note that when using an outdated OS version, you will miss several critical security updates. Do it at your own risk!

Ah, this helps me too: I'm having the same problem. Assumed it was an issue with Lion, since the problem only appeared after upgrade, but it's good to see it's not just me!
Roll on the driver update, I say.
ps. Also using 10.7.2 with HD3000 graphics
