Also, just before you reach the rooftop of Fort Drakon to battle the Archdemon, speak to Morrigan once again. You won't get the special ring epilogue if you don't.

Say either "Are you saying that you love me?" or "And if I do love you?", then say "Love is not a weakness", then finally say "You are worth my distraction."

Ok so I should bring her w/ me to the final battle or talk to her just before i split up the team? I apperciate it cause like i stated in the class build section i'm doing one final character just so i can finally import into my 2nd game for the xbox.

I just did my final run as well, BTW. I've had DA2 for like two months and haven't really sat down to play it because I keep wanting to go back and do a "perfect" game in Origins to import.

You have to bring her with you for the final battle. Then at some point before you face the Archdemon, talk to her and you'll have the chance to ask her about the ritual last night. Do that, and you'll get the epilogue in Origins where your Warden senses Morrigan through the ring. Then you should be fine with Witch Hunt.

The import in DA2 really doesn't have much of an effect sadly. AT least in terms of Morrigan, there isn't anything used from the import and to boot, DA2 does not correctly import the data regarding Morrigan's romance.

Hmm...
Just a word of warning if that's what you guys are doing, and without being spoilery, one or two apparently open DA:O choices are retconned in DA2. And then there is also the odd bug which necessitates certain choices being cannon.
Not sure how much you guys want to hear...?

- Leliana is in DA2, so should survive DA:O (Gaider has suggested this retcon will be explained later, but somehow I don't see it happening).
- Oghren's personal quest in DA:A involves his relationship with Felsi. So it makes the most sense that you get them together (though you could just imagine they got together anyway post-DA:O)
- I believe Wynne shows up in DA:A, so don't kill her (and is on friendly terms with you, so don't get her to hate you either).
- The ultimate sacrifice ending is a little problematic in both DA:A and DA2. DA:A will not recall your story choices if you go with a new, Orlesian warden, and DA2 makes references to 'the warden' mysteriously disappearing (though you can get around this by assuming they mean a warden other than you. That interpretation rings a bit hollow though).
- 2 DA:A characters, Justice and Anders, show up in DA2 which mucks up their timelines a bit - especially as certain epilogues (often seen as their 'best endings') for them state they hang around Amaranthine for 'many years'. You can do a bit of time-stretching so that it makes sense if you let them both die at the end of Awakenings (there is a mention in DA2 that Anders staged a phoney death to get round it, and Justice is a dead spirit anyway, so having them die is not really a problem, story-wise).
- A bug affects whether another DA:A character, Nathaniel, shows up in DA2. You must either save the Keep or bring him with you on the final mission, or else the game will register that he died.
Hope that doesn't mess with your game too much.

The only thing I worry about is BW retconning the Dark Ritual later on. I made it a point not to do the ritual, so it could invalidate this particular playthrough if they decide to make canon after all.

Personally I suspect BW will find a way to give Morrigan the baby no matter what the player decided in DA:O. It's too big a storyline not to use.
It's a predictable problem for a game like this - a truly open-ended game where your choices carry huge world-changing consequences will be extremely difficult when it comes to sequels. With sequels, a little retconning is often inevitable. It's annoying for the player, but there it is.
