Asking for a more Femine  Shepard does not  mean making her ditz, runaway model, blow up doll or what ever else

Lord for bid she just spent a whole day and some covered in alien god knows what, come take a shower  and what look and smell nice for once.  Good god forbid if she wants to go spa and *gasp* pampered.

I think people are speaking way too much in absolutes here...

When people ask for a "more feminine" femShep, I don't think they're asking for more overall differences to distinguish her as "female". I think what they're asking for instead (and I know I'm asking for it) is the option to take a more obviously feminine route in conversations and actions, thus differentiating femShep if we so choose by giving her different animations and lines more suitable for a "womanly" woman. While she IS an elite soldier, some of us would like to have a chance to explore the other side of being a female soldier versus a male.

While people often refer to the dress, I'd like to refer to the loyalty mission for Samara. Did anyone else think that playing as femShep through that was awkward? The whole time it felt tailor-made for broShep instead, and now we threw a female into it. She didn't play up her feminine sexuality; we only had the choice of being butch and broad-chested. Like a typical man would.

This has absolutely nothing to do with gender roles or feminism. I'm perfectly fine with femShep as she is. But giving me the option to show off her more feminine side in situations accordingly would be a new experience I'd really like.

Plus, if she could walk a little less like a man when she's out of her armor, that would be swell.

The sad thing is a good post like this will probably be completely ignored.

^ I agree with the post  completely .

I agree too.

All this.

Thanks guys :D

The irony here is it went very noticed lol.

I agree with the posts in staindgrey's post above (but see no reason to quote all of that).

ME1 animations would work for me.

Though I'd rather they did nothing and left the gorilla as is, than do something similar to the 'side hinge' waggle and lower back breaking stance that is female Hawke.

^ This.

As for FemShep playing up her female sexuality, please no. I don't want the whole game to be like her conversations with Jacob.

I have yet to talk to or romance him on any of my femshep files, is it that bad?

Things I would like to see done to make FemShep more feminine...

Animations that are anatomically correct for a female skeletal frame, such as walking, running, etc.

Animations such as facial expression, gestures, etc, as a woman would make them.

Comments made in more feminine manner depending on the circumstances. It isn't so much what is said, it is more how things are said that make a difference, even when the lines of dialogue are exactly the same.

All in all, There was very little difference between playing female or male Shepard in ME 2, other than romantic choices available.

I want the Devs to make me believe FemShep is a woman, beyond a figure, hairstyle, makeup, and voice set.

Agreed.

Supposedly she acts like a dog in heat. I haven't done it with any of my FemSheps yet, but a did talk to him a little and it seemed...over the top.

It was bad enough that I was so embarassed the very first time I talked to JAcob on the Normandy that I kicked the power button on my computer before she could finish talking. Couldn't believe my shepard was acting like that in their very first conversation.

To this day I cannot actually speak to Jacob's without space-barring through all Shep's dialogue.... I get so embarased by it.

I was interested in trying the Jacob romance until I heard the way FemShep talked to him. She couldn't even ask to chat without sounding like she was sexually harassing him. (I feel like there's a lot of cooing "oooh, Mr. Taylor...") I just ran away, even though I think he could be a good LI. So if that's how FemShep would go about playing up her sexuality, I definitely don't want it. Her lines with Garrus and Thane were also awkward, but at least there weren't as many of them.

I was mortified by the way she spoke to Jacob. I don't think I've ever played out that romance simply because of the way FemShep hits on him. Image IPB

Other than that one time femshep can talk to Kelly about the kind of men she's into and some rare throw away gender specific dialogue I never get the impression I'm playing as anything but a robot with a female voice.

Real gender differences than are more than just cosmetic would be nice.

She totally does need a sex/sassy walk! It would be such shame if the last thing husks and cerberus troopers ever thought was that the way she moves is too masculine before she blows them to hell.

I don't know about the Cerberus troopers but my femshep will be blowing TIM away that's for certain.

Right, but they need to change her movement animations to ensure that TIM won't think she's too masculine when she kills him.
