No thanks... Other than a few corrected animations is all.

Do not want the one rare female role model in a game I can look up to being turned into a ditsy teenage girl or runway model. :?

^^ WSS

Aside from the big leg splays when she sits, I'm very happy with FemShep and her current level of badassery.

That's not really a problem except when she's in evening wear.

I dunno. It looked an awful lot like she was accomodating gonads she didn't have... But it was much worse in a dress, no doubt. Which is why I changed her out of it right after the Kasumi mission. She wasn't comfortable in it.

I simply can not understand the people who made femshep prance around in a dress.

I did rather enjoy ManShep's evening wear. IT looked very smart and w/o any of the ghastly Cerberus logos.

*Sips tea*

Made him look like a ponce and a civilian.

*smashes whiskey bottle and threatens ravensword with it*

Men do not NEED to sit with split legs for it not to hurt too. lol
I can cross my legs and have one of my legs cross the other second time a little bit.

Yep, I find it annoying as well, even for MaleShep. I don't think anyone (except a cowboy wannabe/dude who drives a truck that's 5 feet off the ground with an apparently broken muffler) sits like that.

I think leaving the personality alone is best. The RIG, however, I think is pretty silly for a woman. Women are built differently, they should move differently. Deal with it. They shouldn't go for the Lady Hawke sashay, of course, I think they obviously went overboard there, but she should still get her own gender appropriate animations.

And if anyone really thinks the best ideal of a female role model is someone who moves EXACTLY like a man, that has some unfortunate implications. There are ways to be feminine without being turned into a sex kitten.

War is a masculine thing. Women that are soldiers have to be masculine. It's like saying that a man hairstylist HAS to be manly, because men are men.

I agree with this.  However, apart from a few animation tweaks, I believe both Shepards should be pretty much equal in behavior.  No need to impose stereotypical gender roles on them.

War is not an inherently 'masculine' thing even though it's pretty much always been in the domain of men. You shoot a gun, it fires a bullet, doesn't matter what's between your legs when you do it. The way a human being is built DOES depend on gender, however.

That made me LOL. I know men don't need to sit that way, but they certainly have more excuse for it than a woman. The only time I ever sit with my legs in different zip codes is when I'm doing stretches. Otherwise, it looks rather odd.

The way a human being is built depends a lot on the life style that a human has.

No D, the actual structure, the skeleton of each gender is different.

Yes, this. The animations in ME1 were perfectly fine and I think everyone was happy with them. At least, I've never seen anyone complain about them.

Most of it, sure. All I'm talking about is what Cheeze is, a unique rig with tweaks to a few of the animations to acknowledge the difference.

That'll work. Or, perhaps even better, have Vega act like it. Maybe then having another typical Alliance soldier whose main distinction is having had less development time than the VS will actually be worthwhile.

Maybe. I just don't see women walk a lot differently when they are not on stage.

I demand more manly side to Maleshep. This means he has to admit to being a brony.
