I am posting here because I am unsure of who to talk to to get this sorted out.

I have this account which I use for playing Dragon Age games and a different one for Mass Effect games (don't ask, it was a long time ago and I created 2 by mistake).

I tried logging into my Mass Effect account a few days ago for the first time in almost a year and it says it does not even exist! This is somewhat perplexing and has left me with no access to the cerberus network or any of my DLC.

I understand we are all officially EA accounts now (which I suspect might have something to do with the problem) and so I have tried dealing with EA support.

After I raised the issue with them via their website, and asked them specifically to check the status of the account in question, it takes them 3 days to give some crappy stock response about account hacking (??) and a page I should look at. They then cheerfully inform me that since my query has been dealt with they are closing the ticket.

Their website doesn't seem to even acknowledge the fact that telephones exist since they have no numbers lists that I can find and their online chat thing seems to hang whenever I try to use it (could be a firefox compatibility thing).

Is there a way of dealing with Bioware instead of EA??? I hate EA!

Thanks

Richard

Unfortunately, EA are the ones who do the official support for ME, and that includes accounts.

Just out of curiousity, what happens when you try and register your ME2 copy on the forums under this current account?

I just registered it on this account but the cerberus redemption code is saying that it is currently in use.

Same thing. EA Help is all that there is. There's just game players in here.

Ok, I have managed to finally work out the email address to which my other account is now registered; this is the good news. The bad news is that none of my passwords are working and the the email account has ceased to exist since switching ISP about 3 months back.

Anyone know the standard procedure for sorting such a mess out?

Thanks

EA support. They are the only ones you can talk to about sorting out account problems.
