After taking all the items from the Warrior Item Pack II (Barbarian Stuff), the quest is still not completed and stays in my journal and shows the arrow on the map.

Reinstalling didn't solve the problem.

Anyone knows a solution?

I've also got this issue (which even though the first post is now blank, is obvious enough to figure out.)

Emptying the chest does nothing. The quest is still "active" though I can't click the chest anymore.

Since you and the OP are the sum total of all who ever ran into it, why not send Brotlebinger a PM?

Did you remove the items one at a time, or hit the R to take them all at once?
The reason I ask, is because if in my experience you remove them singly then this happens, if you hit R and take them all, it works fine. This doesn't make a difference in completing the game either way though.

I tried both methods.  I had removed two items from the chest prior to experiencing this bug, but that would be an odd trigger.

Still, you never know.

I took the companion items first and the rest later by pressing "R" (Take all).

I now removed all the items one by one the first time I opened the chest and the quest was completed normally.
