The "confirmation" was much less specific and much more vague. Again, you just tailored it to fit your needs.

That's standard proceedure for him.

Do you actually have some kind of point/argument?

Yes.

"Quit it with the 'it's optional' card already, it's redundant."

But it is optional. Also long as it is their is no problem.=]

It's both sad and funny that some people don't seem to understand that "optional" and "affects the singleplayer game in bad ways" are not mutually exlcusive.

Actually, you don't have a point, you haven't had a point, and you don't seem all that capable of successfully making a point, so I think we're done.

We were done the moment you used the "It's optional" card. Everything afterwards was just me indulging you as an act of my goodwill.

Oh, and for the minotity of fans here that believe that ME 3 will be less popular due to multiplayer, ask yourself this question: "If at restarant, you planned on purchasing a hamburger; would you still buy the same hamburger if it came with a free drink due to a promotion?

If it was a drink I do not like I'd say "Lose the drink and charge me the drink's worth less".

While I understand what you are saying, the vast majority of people
would take the free drink. For example, Cumberland Farms, (a chain of convenience stores in the US) offers every sized coffee for the same price, $1.00.
Most people, even if they don't drink it all, pick the largest cup
because it offers the best value.

For example, if ME 3 was released in two different editions; one with multiplayer and one without; wouldn't you still pick the one with multiplayer if it was the same exact price and included the same singleplayer content?

But the drink is free. You can just not drink it.

I still don't want it, and if they can afford to hand it out for free, they can afford to reduce the price of the rest of my purchae by the drink's value, and hand my drink out for free to someone else.

Sorry, getting something free you don't want does not mean you get your meal at a dicount.  It just mean you get something for free. If you don't want it...Don't drink it. If you getting the drink for free that mean the can affored to give that drink for free...only.

And yet it doesn't, for reasons laid out many times. It simply comes down to whether or not you believe BioWare when they say it doesn't negatively affect singleplayer.

Obviously it would never happen, but I'd be good with this approach. Features I don't enjoy/don't plan on using end up depreciating my game's value, in comparison to other products.

If by "indulging" you mean spouting random, nonsenical and elliptical commentary, then sure you did.

You know, you telling people "They shouldn't use" a feature you love so very much makes you look quite...odd.

First, given that they were deceptive about the very existence of MP in ME3, no, I do not trust them.

Second, singleplayer now has to be designed with the possibility of the effects that the multiplayer can have on it in mind -- or are some of you going to now pretend that multiplayer will never have any effect on singleplayer?

I would assume in making any post that I'm typically speaking for my own preferences. If multiplayer can be avoided altogether, I would gladly pay $10 less for a copy of ME3 with no multiplayer contained. However, I'm also aware that the world really doesn't work like that, despite my wishes.

The reality is that the MP is not free, there was resources used to create it.  There are people who just feel that those resources could have been use to add more single player content, a false believe IMO.

YES. Yes, they are, and they will justfy it by "witty" smileys at the end of their posts.

Because whether or not the inclusion of MP in ME3 has an effect has NOTHING to do with whether any one player chooses to play the MP part of ME3.  You keep coming back to your very narrow and self-serving concept of what it means for MP to affect the SP in ME3.

I hate many things that do not affect me directly. Comes with a broad array of sensory input I am willing to consider.
