So, why does Ashley look radically different?

It's just a shame when devs treat us that way as well because that's what (they think) will sell.

Crossed wires, maybe?
Bottom line is, if you're not a straight male, then the outfit probably isn't made to your tastes.

I'm a female last I checked so sadly no the armor apparently isn't made to my tastes which it really shouldn't be.It should be made to fit the wielder and the setting. Not have one fool running around with a boob window while everyone else (even those who *have* biotic shields and the like to count on) is fully armored.
If it's just about appeal Shep should be running around in a banana hammock (male or female) if armor is made to appeal to someone's tastes.
it's pretty bad when the scientist has a more sensible piece of armor on than the soldier.

Exactly what I think. Oh well, people will come up with the craziest arguments to defend it anyway.

I still question how necessary it is. I mean, really. I already know the answer, but straight male gamers is it *actually* necessary to have arsecrack attack and juggling jubblies on every female character for you to pay attention to them?
Not for this straight male gamer. Then again, it seems I'm in the minority who can actually think with the head on their shoulders from time to time. If I want a story that sacrifices believability for the sake of T&A, I'll just watch one of those pornos with a plot attached.

Why the hell is CerberusWarrior still going on about anti-sex appeal groups? He's had 21 freaking pages to come to grips with the real issue.
Talk about slow.
He represents the brainless mass of GOW/COD fanboys who came in without any appreciation for the story. Just pew-pew and boobies for him. That's all his little brain can handle.
Since Bioware is no longer in touch with character or lore, and has been deficating on the game with these idiotic, impractical sexed-up outfits, I want Shepard to run around in nothing but an N7-branded banana hammock. Both male and female. It doesn't have to make sense if it's for the masses, right Bioware?
No. I've already convinced myself that he's merely a troll. The patterns are there, buried in the data.

- why no normal boots, and not this heels, she never liked?
- to muche makeup around the eyes
- Lips = Botox?
- is this even near the old facemodel?
- eybrows look very to muche different
- soldier with Hair like that? I hope she gets her bun back for the battles
- Armor... yeha, I hope she gets a good one, somthing like female-shep
- And the blue suit is her casual outfit? its ugly, not sexy, only weird, and I am a guy.
(Only my honest Opinions)
I would like something like that
http://th07.devianta...ity-d48a5vs.jpg
for her casual outfit, and her hair, nothing, against long hair, but I dont think she would wear it like that every time (why not only in special cutsceens if you romanced her?)
I hope somebody puts a lot of work in Ashleys look and trys to give use the old ashley back befor ME3 comes out, the "new one" looks like somebody thought "sex sells" and not like "lets reflect her caracter"
If not, and the caracter of Ash is bad like the model now im going to stick with my second LI. My reliable Revenant ;-)
(And I hope she and most other old caracters are not S/S, but thats another story.)

I can't be the only one who thinks Ashley looks prettier with shorter hair, can I? Maybe not a bun, but longer hair doesn't really suit her face imo.
All she really needed was a higher-res face and some jaw-length hair, tbh.

It also looks like they protruded her cheekbones a touch, slanted her eyebrows to an angrier look, bleached her previous tan colored skin and gave her highlights.
Oh my gosh, they did to her what they did to Michael Jackson! (ok, stupid joke, but you all can agree that she looks very different)
I do like that they changed her outfit to a blue color though. The pink screamed girl power too much to me. And she does look a lot prettier than Miranda.

She's hotter now... I might even romance her in a playthrough... that if she cut the homophobic crap off.
Homophobic?
Romancing a character because of looks while not getting in touch with that character is ... shallow tbh.
Romancing a fictional character made out of pixels, and crying over it is so, oh, very mature....
Let's get real, nothing in this thread or about this thread is serious or mature or anything.
P.S. I said I'd romance her if she'd cut the ******(alien)phobic crap off, that means romance not because of looks, since not looks are the determining factor here... But pulling things out of context is BSN members' best ability.
