No. Miranda would beat Ashley's ass with her biotics. But in a fist-fight ya'll know Ash would win. Not that it matters much because if they ever fought it'd be mostly likey with guns. Maybe Ashley would spray like a noob and maybe Miranda would camp in a corner...Who knows?

I understand where some of the anger is coming from, but you still have to keep in mind that we don't know if that's her hair for the whole game or how she views certain things.  A lot of sh*t happened throughout those two years and few months while she thought Shepard was dead.  Also she's obviously not going to be the exact same person from ME1 and neither is any character, but IMO, she will still have all those characteristics that I mentioned up above.  Everyone has changed in different ways while being under Shepard's team and you shouldn't expect everyone to have a consistant view of life, it's not the way human's work.  Something extreme happens and it can change their outlook on certain things, for better or worse.  

And honestly, it's hair.   

IMO, that's what this whole thing is about...

it's not about the hair, it's not really about the outfit. It's a fear of them changing her personality... or who she is, into something she isn't and actually speaks out against in the other games. 

If it's the same Ash with the same personality and all... I don't care what she looks like. But when they go to the complete opposite end of the spectrum with a character's looks, it makes one wonder...

And a lot of the characters in ME are dressed the part they look. When you think Zaeed or Wrex... you think badass merc and they look it too.

Oh trust me, I won't be satisfied until I see an ingame screenshot of all squadmates wearing a fully-sealed hardsuit with helmet, on a planet/moon that's confirmed to have no atmosphere.

No-one looks *that* different, Ive heard lots of things how a camera can make you look taller/shorter/fatter/thinner, but pasty-skinned and some others? The New Ash looks like she's been living like a deep cave mushroom for the last 6 mos and that's being generous to be honest.

Cameras don't necessarily do that, but lighting can. For example, DA:O Isabela looks much, much lighter in the Pearl than she does when you bring her up in the toolset.

I do think that picture of ME 3 Ashley is incredibly unflattering, but I imagine it's because of lighting issues and the odd angle. At least, I hope so.

can someone tell me why people are complaining about this?? I mean seriously that IS NOT the only outfit she has. as far as I know 1 out of 3 outfits. and the "less armor" version was for a speical edition of ME3, So its not a requirement.

So guess what guys "Dont like it??? Don't use it. " Its lovely having OPTIONS doesn't it?

Eh heard it before.  No sign that it's actually true yet.

There are, however, several shots of Ash without armor, but toting a gun.  Including one with Shep, Liara, and Vega all wearing armor and her in none.

Until I see otherwise, Ash in armor is just talk.

Here's why: despite the fact that there have been reports that Ashley will have proper armor similar to what Shepard will wear, we have not yet seen what this armor will look like. The recently revealed concept art suggested that this was the armor, until fans noticed that there is an obnoxious boob window. Furthermore, a lot of BSN members see this as a repeat of the Miranda/Isabela fiascoes. However, the recent tweet by Casey Hudson reveals a key piece of information: that Ashley's armor and helmet will be "similar to Shepard's". Those 3 words alone are highly promising, and if we get to see a screenshot of this armor, things will get very interesting indeed. I, for one, am optimistic now.
