So, why does Ashley look radically different?

Seriously though I'm the type that unequips all gear for gits and shiggles, and now that Ash gets armor for sure, I wouldn't care except for how bad Ash looks in the default outfit. I mean, sure, I've got the CE, but fo real, gurlfriend, them Alliance colors ain't doin' you no good.

Mercy. Let this die, damn it.
This isn't about armor.
This is about an ugly, unprofessional-looking uniform

It's reminiscient of a skirt. I believe it's actually longer than the Alliance dress blue jackets.
For Ashley's appearance in the series, we let her hair down and gave her sex
appeal, while keeping her in a uniform that introduced the new Alliance colors.
Ashley first bumps into Shepard as an Alliance officer on Earth, so her iconic
look is a stylish officer's uniform, but later she will don a full set of
armor."

I'd also ask to make her outfit not look so plasticky, but I admit even Anderson's jacket is looking awfully shiny in that shot.

If they didnt..Ash has been upducted by Salarians and has been replaced. That's how she became a Spectre despite the dishonor associated with her family name. tbh, it looks like she's stuffing her bra to me.
& Yes, it does indeed look like shes a bra stuffer.
Shame on her.
This is why we NUKE her!

Alliance rank
Alliance colors
(heavily) modified Alliance uniform.
It's an Alliance outfit that has a Spectre symbol on it to show her affiliation.
Like the gaudiness of the outfit wasn't enough

My problem is also with her face. I agree with cheez. You see more of her eyelid, her eyebrows are different and her lips look a little more plump and curve differently.

Nope. Sorry, but that neckline is quite stylish and hardly revealing. A fully buttoned collar, I think, might be a little too restricting and... formal-looking for Ash. Seriously, as an owner of a proud pair of ****** myself, I'd leave the top a little unbottoned, too. Not for sex appeal, but by god, that tight, stiff crap across the chest can't be comfortable. Around the neck? Even worse. I mean, hell, who honestly buttons ANY shirt up all the way these days, save for formal occasions? That sh*t's uncomfortable.iakus wrote...

As for the boots, that's a little beyond my current Photoshopping prowess, and I think I may have a... um... fetish. So those stay.
I like boots. I like boots a lot.
That I can do.I'd also ask to make her outfit not look so plasticky, but I admit even Anderson's jacket is looking awfully shiny in that shot.

Couldn't they just use ME1/ME2 Ashley's face and just up the bust size, give her a new outfit and release The Bun? Seriously, the appearance of a character that's not going to even be in my canon run is very, very important to me.
EDIT: First paragraph is referencing ME3 Ashley in general. Just so you know.
To add to the heavy statement... Dat brow. tbh.

Why does it always seem to come down to either armor or sex? I never said she was showing cleavage. I'm saying that's a formal uniform that' giving a less than professional appearance to Ashley. Look at the officer next to her. If the footage is still out there, look at Anderson and all the other officers in that scene. None of them, male or female, have necklines that low. Not by a longshot.
Bit I guess Ash just has to feel pretty or something, because she's a Spectre
