The biggest yet simplest reason that stands out in my mind as to why Ash looks so different from ME2 to ME 3 is because.....people change over time. They mature....No one in their 30s looks EXACTLY like they did in their teens...So my guess is that Bioware may have wanted to show a bit of age progression, maturity on the part of the characters (ie Ash, Anderson......Maybe even Jack or Miranda) But we'll have to wait and see.

Thats quite a lot of change for a couple months Energizer. Even then it doesn't seem like maturing to me, unless you count plastic surgery or something similar.

Yes people change, but unless you'd have to be incredibly naive to believe these changes where based in a desire for deep character development.

I agree, its too much of a change in a few months (short of going to a very expensive CItadel bodyshaping clinic).

Why does she look different?

For the same reason female armour in WoW gets more and more skimpy.
There is no "in game" reason for this. The designers simply wanted to make her more sexy for the primary target group. Its not as if this isn't done in pretty much any industry. Sex sells.

Not in America as far as video games go. Americans are scared of sex. Violence however is a different matter.

No no no jreezy. Sex does sell, you just have to pretend its not there. America just can't seem to decide what it wants to do with sex.

Remember sex is bad for people, except when you are looking at it. Well, at least that is what Ameriaca's governers taught me.

Doesn't look like "maturing" to me... that outfit looks like it's going the other way.

So what? Despite the noise, people still have valid arguments. As for me, the news that her combat armor will be similar to Shepard's is definitely good news, but I'm still holding out for a screenshot.
