So, why does Ashley look radically different?

One: I wasn't talking to you,
Two: If you've actually read my previous posts on the subject, you'd see that I'm neither ****ing, complaining, or whining, nor am I a rabid Ashley fan. There's a reason why I pick Kaidan at Virmire every time. But that I am (Like many who also "****, complain, etc.") a person who sees a franchise moving in an odd (And sometimes just ridiculous.) direction, and offers alternative ideas, opinions, critiques, and yes, criticisms. Nothing wrong in that.
And three: The reason why I posted here at all was to call attention to one of the many discrepancies that Bioware has allowed since their shortsighted entry, "Mass Effect 2," which apparently are being carried over into Mass Effect 3.
Was my generalization a little zealous? Maybe, but its from my personal experience (Both elsewhere, and on this very thread.) that I typed that to begin with. So my so called "Arrogance," is due merely to what I have always seen, with few different opinions (Such as yours.) in the way. You only need to look at all the dedicated threads to see it.
And who's to say your assessment isn't wrong? Or that mine is? No one, most certainly not you; who decided to attack a person (And to an extent, a group.) you don't even know, without even trying to be civil first.

And if your interpretation about ashley was just not universal ? What if you could accept that other people like the new look but not necessarily for the considerations that you throw and think yourself ?

But I think I caught the last sentence; I do accept other people's views, and I never said I didn't. If anything, I said I was a supporter of different ideas.
But that doesn't change the fact that many people with (Usually.) good reason severely question Bioware's motives for these changes, and the fact that the changes exist at all.
And to AD; and I honestly didn't ask if you did, because I honestly don't care if you do, considering for the bulk of this thread you've done little more than scream at people who voice their discontent and reservations with things like "You don't know!" or "You haterz!"

I said simply that the same group that you feel insulted did and do the same thing. They are the first ones who did that, so when they are playing victims...
and I was not talking about you personally, I described something unbearable in general. And your sentence that I quoted in my first post was a symbol of that thing.
Now, excuse me, I didn't see that i posted in this thread " So why does Ashley look radically different ? " Otherwise i wouldn't waste my time to post. I thought your post was in another topic...

I thought it was to make her look more sophisticated? That's the last thing they said. Truth, they are sexing her up because
That said, I actually like Ash's new look. I just hope there is an option to comment on the new look as it is a big change for her.

I have reservations against such casual attire but I don't think too many people would agree with my reasoning as we have no way of knowing how it would be handled until the game comes out.
I just don't see my cousin putting on makeup while in a warzone. Maybe on civvy missions, but out in the wild?

Pretty sure your cousin isn't an Alliance Marine or a Spectre and that it isn't the year 2185. Just something to consider.Nashiktal wrote...

So it's not just Liara with a canon friendship then.
Uh...Ash/Kaidan are not forced friendships. Not even close.

I like the sarcasm. I was actually just trying to be civil and contribute, but If you're going to believe something, you're going to believe it.BentOrgy wrote...

As far as this whole debate, Ashley is BioWare's character. They can do what they want to her, because what is in and out of character is dictated by the writers. If you don't like it, write fanfiction. Just because you have this mental image of who she is doesn't mean everyone sees her that way. It's entirely okay to think she's being OOC for wearing whatever, but there's nothing backing you up when you scream at BioWare and your fellow forumgoers because things aren't going your way. I'm going to get so much crap for this post, but it needed to be said.

Bioware listens to feedback but people really need to remember that they don't own the characters. They're Bioware's creations.

Er, your post made little sense, considering you directly implied that, just because its a game, its military would deviate that far from regulations and decorum. Bioware has rooted much of this story in real life, and the Alliance military operates very much, if not identical to how most militaries do now. (Considering its a direct branch of a future version of the militaries we DO have in the present.) Meaning its regulations against makeup and such are identical.
And you'll get crap for it, because you (Like your friend AD with his obnoxious Snape GIF.) seem to either misinterpret or blow what people like myself, Nashiktal, Godwood, and many others post, our of proportion. Usually to either demonize and/or discredit our views and opinions.
Yes, Ashley Williams is Bioware's property, and they're free to write her as they wish, but that doesn't stop the fact that official sources can screw up their own lore. Its called retconning, among other things. Something that Bioware has been accused of in the past. That, and considering Ash's chief writer left the project, the idea is more realistic than you'd think. But even more to the point, if you'd care to actually read some of these posts, you'd find that many (Including myself.) of us "Forumongers," have stated that "As of right now," no logical, story driven reasons for such dramatic changes have been given, and that until such things appear, many people feel justified in their objections.
Regardless of the inane masses that find it much easier to "Play it cool," and accept such things at face value, without offering anything in the way of articulate debates and/or sound reasons to counter our logical observations.

You realise that by employing the argument that it is Bioware's creation so you must accept whatever they do with it, you forfeit the right to EVER complain about ANYTHING they do?
edit: and, in fact, anything that you yourself did not create

Yeah...I don't know why anyone would think that's a good arguement.
Sure BW has the *right* to do whatever the hell they want with their creations.
Doesn't mean people can't comment on it.
