The permanent squad list is as follows.



Comander Shepard (of course. ME 3 just won't happen at all if he died at Collector Base)

James Vega (no matter how you mess up ME 1 & 2 he'll make it. Soldier Tank)

Ashley Williams (Is a soldier like James Vaga but she is more damage per second than a tank)

Kaidan Alenko (Your sentinel bro is back, if he survived Virmire that is)

Liara T'Soni (no matter how you mess up ME 1 & 2, she'll make it. Adept!)

Garrus Vakarian (you kept him alive. Good decision)

Tali Zorah Vas Neema/Nar Rayya/Normandy (Whatever Vas she is, make it Tali Zorah Vas Alive)



My prefered squads are as follows: (there will be lots of switching for variety)

Garrus and Liara.

Rumored squaddie that to me makes zip for sense.  The CE is suppose to come with a new companion with mission.  But nothing has been confirmed nor has anything else if you ask Evil Chris.  Which is why he changed the name of the Confirmed Feathures thread to Known Features.

Since I loved playing with Liara and Tali in ME1 and we kicked ass and took names doing it, I'm going with them in ME3.

If all survived in ME2 you have a damn good team as it is...not sure why we need to bring in new blood. I enjoyed all the characters in ME2. (although I never used Jacob or Thane, except during loyalty missions.)

We don't know what Kaidan's build will be, but if he's as versatile as Miranda, our other "Sentinel," then I imagine he'll be my MVP for most of the game.

Liara and someone else. Ash/Kaidan and Tali I guess.....

Liara, Kaidan Tali and Garrus will be my most used. Ashley and James are just soldiers with no powers. If I wanted a combat character I'd go for Garrus, he has tech powers too. But still, Ashley and James are very very effective in battle from what I hear.

James Vega will be another Grunt. He has loads of hitpoints. But delivers less damage.
Ashley Williams will have less hit points but will have highest damage per second.

If they have adrenaline rush, then I'll go for the soldier squadmates.

As always, Garrus is a permanent fixture in my team. Then I'll mostly likely have Tali or the VS as my second. Liara and the newbies will have to amuse or impress me fast if they ever want a chance to get out of the Normandy.

Personally, I don't like the idea of Liara being a full time squadmate, just doesn't make sense for what she represents, IMO. From the permanent list though, I would pick Kaidan and Vega/Garrus.

Edit: I always say Vegas instead of Vega, lmao.

Vega for the hair.
Kaidan for the biotics, mostly because i dislike Liara, no offense to her fan-base, she just isn't my cup of coffee.
