If someone wanted to do a full port, that would be interesting. However, for me, one of the biggest appeals of this game was the excellent ToEE turn-based combat system. I think a NWN2 version, might feel somewhat lacking.

I started to play The Keep on the Borderlands by Co8, but it was the Final Demo version. Have they even made an official release? I was enjoying what I had played, but then ran into a nasty crash-to-desktop bug, which I was unable to resolve.

I checked their forum, but it looks like the current status is that it is inactive due to the retirement of a key project member. That's unfortunate.
Yes the turn-based feature of the ToEE game was a highlight, and it would be nice if that could be brought to NWN2. It gave the game a nice tactical, table-top feel that's missing in other CRPGs. But, if anything, the industry seems to be heading in the opposite direction.

No kidding, you actually have to have reflexes and hand-eye coordination to play a lot of the new CRPG's. God, if I had that I would just go outside and play sports or something!

It's pretty intricate, and I have got it working at least on a basic level. I'm planning to include this as an option for the "Sons of Edinmoor" campaign. That ought to be interesting to see how it flies with the community of players.
So if someone did want to take a stab at a re-make of the Co8 Keep on the Borderlands they could look to implement this as well.

A lot of people today think Role Playing includes the skills the player has and not the skills or talents of the Character. There's a distinct difference. Neither method is better than the other in and of themselves, though they lend themselves to entirely different genres of play.
I do have the reflexes (still at 51) and aim, but I'd rather be shooting a sniper rifle on the roof in MoH or CoH for that. For character skills, it's all about the advancement of what the character is able to do that I personally cannot. Though I have been practicing my stalking skills lately.
Keep on the Borderlands, as realized by Co8, transferred to NWN2 using BartjeD's TBCS (Turn Based Combat System) might be a superlative experience, as well as a showcase for the overall complexity and variety that really is at the heart of NWN2's power.

I sincerely hope that does not stand for "My own house".

Not to worry. He was still working on repairs to his own roof the last we heard.[/quote]

Which means I am up on the roof of MoH (insert high levels of SNARK here)
A LOT!
And, yes, the view is pretty good from up there. Just so you know.
