my favorite is engineer (smg and hvy pistols, no shotguns, funnier for me), sentinel is great as well, best shotgun user imo and soldier is pretty fun as well (play him mostly as a semi sniper), really like what they are doing with it in me3 by the way, adding more variety in possible builds instead of AR all the time

Infiltratror -> Engineer -> Soldier -> Sentinel -> Adept (never played Vanguard)

The infiltrator was my favorite until I finally rolled a Vanguard.  It's had my #1 spot ever since.

Has a gun for every situation, also the LMG is my favourite  weapon in the whole game, also AR good for dishing out lots of damage

Vanguard, Like using the charge ability with the GPS
Sentinel, The tech amour and biotic/tech abilities makes it very versital (sp)

1. Sniping never gets old
2. Tactical Cloak - I actually never liked stealth like that until ME2
3. my favourite Shadowrun character was basically an ME1 infiltrator

#2 Soldier/Adept - can't decide which I like more

I never liked the trigger-brick though, always preferred the scimitar/AoE-charge.

Widow Sniper Rifle + Armor Piercing Ammo (70% damage increase) + Assassination Cloak (75% damage increase).

Adept. Biotics are FUN!
Infiltrator. Tech and Sniping! And that cloak in ME 2! Hope it's in ME 3. Perfect stealth takedown!
Soldier. More weapons, no recharge, Widow.... what more can you ask for?

First char in ME 3 will be an Adept with Sniper and SMG (if weapons are allowed to be chosen).

My favorite is the Sentinel, hands down. Three reasons why?

1. You're a tank.
2. Your set of powers equips you for any conceivable combat scenario.
3. Tech Armor resets squadmate cooldowns.

I still don't know if that last one is a bug or a feature, but it is so fun to (ab)use.

After Sentinel I'd rank the classes as: Engineer, Vanguard, Infilitrator, Soldier. I've never played Adept, but I'm fairly certain I'd enjoy it more than Soldier. I'm a power ****. Soldier just feels so... blah.

My favorite is the Adept and Infiltrator, but for the infiltrator I never use the cloak or sniper rifle.

Infiltrator, love tactical cloaks versatility for both precision high speed sniper lobotomies, as well as messy close quarters brawls with the smg and pistols. Or blind firing the Widow from the hip at husks one greatest weakness; their crotches.

Although saying that, i just started ME1 again and so far I'm loving the engineer, the only class I'd not used before, and it may well be the second Shep I take through to 3 after my canon infiltrator, assuming the engineer gets more fun in ME2 just like the other classes do.
