Those people in the village were attacking her. Self defense. I'd have put them down too. It's not like she was happy about it either.

It's not self-defense. She was on offence to kill Morinth, then Morinth sent those villagers at her in self-defense.
Is it self-defense to kill people that are shooting at you if YOU are invading a country?

A village isn't a country. It was Asari controlled space, and she had the right to be there and it was her duty to kill Morinth. Morinth attacked Samara with people she had brainwashed. Brainwashed to be sacrificed to her, if you'll recall.

Samara has the entire Asari race giving her permission to do what she does. And the only reason she kills is to protect the innocent. Much more noble than, say, killing to become stronger.

Samara kills every single non-child in an Asari village...each one, by her own admission in saying that they were controlled by Morinth, an innocent. I'm sorry, I can't and won't buy that.

Edit: Also the Asari accept it reluctantly.  Anaya's statements imply that it's a fringe type of deal.

She knew they were innocents.  She could have subdued a few of them, but she killed each and every one.  And I can guarantee there were a number she could have subdued.

Her comment about it mattering nothing whether a man she will kill is a devoted father or not speaks volumes about the situation as well.

Also, bringing it up again, her comment about teaching the Krogan whatever she wants to teach them is government sanctioned as well, correct?  Riiiiight.

See, Samara's duty sucks. And we don't even know if Morinth would brainwash the village in the first place if she wasn't hunted by Samara.

This I agree with. However, she didn't have that choice.

Yes, and because she wasn't given that choice I am at HER side and not Samara's.

But it wasn't up to Samara either. That was the law, and Samara was a law abiding citizen. Morinth clearly was not.

The only reason she "helped" is because you saved her life. Which was kinda stupid considering when you first met she was trying to kill you. Plus, you didn't need her or anything. She was hardly instrumental in the Collectors defeat.

And when you say you don't care about the law, is that you, or your Shepard. Because I'm pretty sure that you'll care about the law if someone sex kills your family and you want some justice. You'll beg for the law to help you. I'm just saying.

And just because she can get away with the crime, doesn't make it any better.

That's speculation.  No biotic flare up.  She asks you to recite stuff for her.  There's no indication that she would kill you then and there.  Especially when moments before you learn that she's into dueling.

Dark and dangerous places + picking up dueling != taking people that don't fight back.

She was about to try getting in your pants. You're a moron if you think that wasn't why she invited you back to her apartment.

Who knows what the goal was.  Your job is to seduce her and get her to invite you back to her place where she might sex you up.  Instead she seems to be preparing you for some mission: "Tell me you'd kill for me, anything I want."  That could easily be something different.

Subduing them would have been time wasted. Subduing people takes more time than killing the if you're trained well enough.

It was leading to sex. You are seriously broken if you can't see that.

The law is there to protect law abiding citizens. The law would never tell you to cause self harm. It is actually illegal to commit suicide. Just saying.

There are plenty and plenty more stupid and unreasonable laws, that I would NEVER follow if I wasn't forced to do so.

She would have realised she could do it. She had no idea that Samara was going to find her, or she would have had a better escape plan. Unless she was content sending those people to their deaths. She knew Samara would kill them. Another reason I wouldn't support her.

How are you sure?  You're seriously broken if you can actually think your assumption can be used as proof.

Doesn't matter what you want. Laws are there for a reason.

How are you sure it wasn't leading to sex? You are using your assumption as proof too. But my assumption is much more likely.

It doesn't change the fact that I don't want to follow some of them. And Mass effect actualy allows me to do so without being severly punished.

Me and Xeranx are not using assumptions as proof, we are only assuming. And don't like when people are trying to brake those assumptions with different assumptions.

Okay. This situation doesn't make me have more respect for Samara. But it should definately make you lose at least a bit of respect for Morinth.

I respect Morinth for not choosing seclusion. The fact the she has to fight back for that choice could be handelled differently I suppose, but it is understandable.

Nor was I. I was just making a point. Look, if an attractive woman invited you back to her house from a bar, and then started talking to you like that, you'd make the same assumption I did. Then get laid.

Samara also respects Morinth for not choosing seclusion. As do I. But that doesn't mean it's okay to send a village to it's death.

Actually I said it could be anything which is a fact.  I made no assumption about her motives after she started having you recite her words.  I posited what it could be, but never made a distinction as to what it actually was.
