My game was perfectly alright yesterday.  I got on today and Im no longer able to save and I got a quick msg at the bottom of my screen saying my disc is corrupted.  Since it was fine when I got off yesterday...dunno what could have occurred.  Any ideas on how to fix it?  I'd hate to think I had to delete the game and start it up all over again.
This is for Dragonage Origins Awakening and Im almost through playing it.

Though a currupt disc sounds rather literal.  Not sure what you can do about that short of obtaining a replacement.

Game will not save either with quicksave or going thru escape etc. Very frustrating to play for a few hurs and find out their is no way to save what you done. I uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing worked. Arg......................

We need some more information and maybe then we can help better. Please take a look at the 'stickies' on this forum which may help you to help yourself. Especially "Read First", which you seem not to have bothered with. If those do not help, start a fresh thread for your topic.
