Never really cared for this franchise. I do like Yu Yu Hakusho and Saint Seiya though. (Seiya in particular it's really hard to find fans in the US for; it got big in Central and South America but never here.)

The games? Haven't played any DBZ game since that awful game known as DB: Raging Blast. So crap and totally waste of £40. However, as a child, I was addicted to the show.

Won't lie to you, I thought this was pretty dumb at first. But It's really fun, commentary is best part of it. As a stream monster and member of the fighting game community, I think that's the best part of fighting games. They're not the best commentators but they really care about it, and it's what makes it really cool.

Ah dragon ball. I don't really bother keeping up with all the fluff anymore, but that series has a special place in my heart, three episode long shouting matches and all.
I'll look into it, and for anyone who is interested a new dragon ball fighting game came out (I know, lol at yet another fighting game) that allows you to create your own character using the body parts of all the DBZ characters they have in the game.

I haven't actually played any of the newer DBZ games, but I remember there was a game that came out several years ago on GBA called Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors. It was the best DBZ fighting game I've ever played, especially of the 2D variety - it captured the hectic action of the show very well even more so than the Budokai games I've played.

In truth though, the game is SOOOO far from release that it could end up good or bad.

Yeah, I remember watching Dragonball Z about 12 years ago with my flatmate. Crazy Tibetan who used to watch the damn thing all night.
