18 or 19 I think. I went with my friends all the way through high school, and then the first year of college. We liked the dressing up part more than the candy I think. Plus it was something different to do other than the mall and the movies.

10? Not sure I always preferred going to the Halloween parade with my costume even now I go but the only difference is I get wasted.

never went trick or treating unfortunately. guess it's not that big a thing in Australia.

is it true if you don't give kids treats they will egg you house or something like that.

Only if they are ****s. I remember hearing from my Nan's next door neigbour (who is 80) wasn't able to get anything for trick or reaters, so a bunch of morons when they were turned away didn't just egg the house, they threw a rock to one of the windows. Fortunately, they missed.

Why the hell are some people so sick and twisted to want to do something like that? Image IPB

I'm Australian, I don't so much "trick or treat" as I do look for an excuse to dress up. Although when I was a kid no one did it whereas now quite a few do.

Last year my ex gave the kids Red Bull, I wish I was kidding.

Yeah, that's pretty damn screwed up.

I was about 15 when I stopped, but I lost the passion for trick or treating when I was about 12. I just wanted the extra candy. It was awesome just stuffing your face while watching The Simpsons Halloween specials all night, though. I'd say 95% of the houses gave out candy, and about 50% of them were actual full chocolate bars and pop cans. xP (This was in Canada)

I live in NZ currently, and Halloween seems pretty much non-existent. I never see kids trick or treat, there's just parties to go to. ...It's kind of sad!

One of the reasons I stopped trick or treating is simply because my friends and family stopped getting into it, so there was really no point to continue.

The following day is called "Devil's Night" or some ****? And I would see a lot of toilet paper and eggs on people's houses... Kids are dumb, that's the thing. They think it's so funny.

I've never done it because I'm in Australia, so it's not that big here. However parties are common. :S

Never did it. I mean its not such a big deal in England, but its not particularly safe anyway :/ You'd never accept candy from someone you didnt know under normal circumstances, dunno why that rule should bend for a nonsense tradition.

Yes, im grinch. And ill be spending halloween in the dark in hope no one knocks :P

1.) Acquire an adorable child
2.) Give them a cheap costume from Target
3.) Give them a pillow case
4.) Let them shake down adutls for candy
5.) ????

5 would be "checking" for "bad" candy. Ugh, my mother stole so much candy when she did that. What a meanie.

I think it was 11 or 12...my mom said that if I was too embarrassed to carry the cute little pumpkin bucket around, I was too old to trick-or-treat. Lol. She also said that if I was big enough that lugging around the cute pumpkin bucket once it was full wasn't tiring, I was too old. She was right, since in high school and now in college dressing up for parties is so much more fun.

I was always jelly that Amerikahns got an extra holiday, especially one that came with candy. Until I saw it in action when we went to Brisbane.
Then I realised how fecking tragic it was. Sh*ty costumes, cranky people bribing children to go away and another excuse for slatterns to get their TaTas out.
But maybe thats just in Queensland, they're a weird mob.

Why would anyone stop trick-or-treating? It's free candy! FREE CANDY. What is the matter with people?

It's still much easier to wait for November 1st and the 75% off sales and just get bags of the real delicious chocolate candies people enjoy instead of walking miles to fill up a pillow case that's 75% Smarties and Twizzlers

Efficiency! :wizard:
