In any case, the asari can try to combat the media campaign against them, but they won't succeed. This is especially true in a Renegade universe in which the asari have already begun to withdraw from the rest of the galaxy. Given enough support the purebloods will start to make a comeback. The more inner-focused the asari become the less interested they will be in their standing in galactic culture. If humans control the Council then the asari have already largely lost their position of leadership.

When it comes down to it we have Cerberus willing to get their hands dirty.

Whichever species Shepard could possibly successfully mate with. Shepard's essence is the key to galactic dominance.

Yup. It's already happening now. Those Canadians keep coming down from the north and are stealing all our acting jobs. They'll soon start exporting their culture down here and before you know, boom it! Universal healthcare. Oh, the horror!

I see your point.

But there is no point to judge a threat in thousands of years. That's not how it works and that's not fair. Humanity could be totally destroyed a century later by another species.

And if Asari numbers will continue to climb, it wouldn't be sufficient at all to reduce the curve of the other species population  with a birth much more efficient and productive, besides in a very short time.

Western countries are living longer, and it did not prevent countries from Africa, and Asia, to catch up, just by their explosive birth

Lot's of pulling info out of nowhere coming out of your posts. Last I checked the asari was still the economic and cultural juggernought in council space which the entirety of the galaxy relies on for eezo supplies. Like the illusive man stated, it's only a matter of time before they gain the upper hand again.

Face it, humanity is the one who is alienating themselves from the galaxy in the renegade setting not the asari. The manouver of killing the council united three species who on their own are more powerfull than humanity against us.

Canadians transcend your very understanding.

We are each a polar bear. Independant. Free of all weakness.

Before us, Americans are nothing. We, are the end of everything.

Someone as bright as you deserves a job in government.

"This threat is a long-term problem so it isn't my problem."

Fool.

This is the problem, you see. A thousand years is many generations for a human or other short-lived species, but it is only one asari life-time. Thus they will make plans that take a thousand years or more to enact where-as humans will fail to because of people like you.

No, by giving up their defense agreements they are pulling back from the galaxy. Meanwhile humanity is growing in relevance and influence. The sun is setting on the asari hegemony. We can accelerate this process and empower ourselves.

I fail to see how the Asari can be a threat.

For those who say that the Asari are a threat. What can we do? Do we must destroy them or prohibit sex with them ?

What you say makes me think of that kind of reasoning : Foreigners are a threat to the culture of the white race in our country, we will end up being absorbed by their number and the the mixed childrens.

A mixed race child is still the child of both parents. Asari children are only the children of the Asari. Your example is like claiming that the aliens from the Alien movies are like mixed race children.

No, a white people with a white people = white people =/

A white people + a black people =/ the same elsewhere

mixed children.  /= +another  mixed children

No white people anymore in the end
. that's seems the same to me.

It is a natural process. People decide to unite with whomever they choose. And the propensity of humans to want to unite with others, gives a result which is seen as a threat against which we must guard, for a story of culture and preservation. The same trend.

You don't seem to understand. It's not at all similar because you do not produce a child with an asari. The asari creates a child, merely randomizing it's own genes. If you "have a child" with an asari, it's technically not your child. Are you trying to claim that if you have a child with someone of another race, that it's not your child because the child isn't the same race as you? That's not true. However, it is true that the child of an Asari is not the "father's" child.

Long term is the most efficient way to think...an obvious future problem dealt with today, is a problem less tomorrow.....The Asari by their very breeding nature and prolificness makes for an obvious problem coming....And this isn't just about humanity...in my personal eyes anyway....it's about all Species.

The council existed for over 2000 years without humans, That's 2000 years of political , economic and cultural relations. Humanity has been there what 30 ? 50 years or something like that.

And you think you can show up , throw some dirt around and they'll all cave in ?

That is freaking hilarious.

Yes. It started w/ Saturday Night Live and soon enough the sick and injured will be treated... w/o making a profit! *Gasp* I'm pretty sure they're building an advanced spacecraft w/ FTL capability on the dark side of the moon.

That's only two asari lifetimes. It also was destroyed and replaced with humans only 30 years after humans arrived on the galactic scene.

Yes I do because as I pointed out it doesn't take much to make the asari cave in. As soon as they lose the Destiny Ascension they throw in the towel. It's almost like they were just waiting for an excuse to withdraw. Not to say that some asari won't fight back, but I don't see how they'll win.
