For me personally, I'm going to start playing Mass Effect 1 around February and hopefully by Mass Effect 3 release I should have done Mass Effect 1&2 plus DLC in time.
I know it seem crazy, but who cares

I completed ME 1 100%-ish (all but mineral and all those missions) for the last time. After you know the story all you have is the gameplay and ME 1 falls a little short in that area. I might do ME 2 again though.
It takes you 40 hours to 100% mass effect 1 or 2? My time is down to about 11 hours for mass effect 1 and like 13-14 for mass effect 2AdmiralCheez wrote...
My plan is to have one Shep for every class ready for import by the time ME3 rolls around. My soldier and infiltrator are done, my vanguard and adept are halfway there, and my sentinel and engineer are tapping their feet on Eden Prime.
After that's done, I plan on doing another one-for-every-class run, this time with the genders reversed because that's how I roll. Since I'm an incurable completionist, that's 40 hours a game, three games each, twelve times.
1440 total hours of Mass Effect. I am going to be doing this until I die.

Okay if you don't skip the conversations then i can see that adding a lot of time, and i usually keep the combat at casual because my runs are usually just to changes some minor detail so i want them to be over and done with (restarted an entire run because i forgot to finish the conrad verner quest), and i don't have pinnacle station so i don't know who long that takes, and damn the collection missions indeed, and damn whichever developer it was that made a small mention of them, making me go back and do them because it could make a minor change to mass effect 3AdmiralCheez wrote...

2. I like to keep the combat relatively challenging.
3. I do ALL the DLC.
4. I frequently screw around and forget what I'm doing.
5. Damn you, UNC collection missions!

It's not an urge. "Urge" is too tame a term. "Urge" implies I actually want to do it.TheMakoMaster wrote...
uhh, you don't have sudden strong urges to go collect salarian id tags?

Too many games has been my problem as well. I started my FemShep file like a month and a half ago and haven't touched it once this month. Gears of War 3, Battlefield 3 and Batman have been keeping me away. Come next month Skyrim and Saints Row will be making it even worse. I'm starting to doubt the possibility of even playing a Mass Effect game before the demo releases.Hathur wrote...
I have a lot of replays to do... namely because I have only 3 male sheps but over a dozen femsheps. Need to explore the various options for male shep so I can bring them to ME3... but I've sunk hundreds upon hundreds of hours into ME1 & 2 and with so many games coming out between now and ME3, I don't think I'll have the time
Will have to play: Skyrim, Saints Row 3, SWTOR, possibly Batman Arkham City, (Diablo 3? not sure when that's coming... but I want).... ugh too many games.

No. I must do it, and I cannot control it.
