I've got my 'last' Shepard (of the 6 Shep's I originally decided to play back when ME1 came out) to finish going through ME1 with, and then I will do another ME2 run after that. So yeah, sort of!

Planning on doing an ME1-3 run sometimes after ME3 comes out too though.

I've screwed myself over. I've play ME and ME2 so much over the past 4 years that I can't even get past Freedom's Progress without losing interest now.

That is not the tenth of it. I have a pretty definite plan for the 6 weeks leading up to the ME3 release.
My last playthrough of ME1/2 was in February. Haven't touhed it since in order to get a bit of a "fresh" experience. I have pretty much layed out every decision for my "cannon" Shep (a paragade infiltrator) but I have never played the game with all the choices the way I really want them so it's gonna be a first.
End of January I'll start:
1. Reread Evolution (awful comic IMO but still, it has to be reread)
2. Reread Revelation (maybe hear the audiobook instead)
3. Replay ME1
4. Reread Ascension (maybe hear the audiobook instead)
5. Replay ME:Galaxy
6. Reread Incursion
7. Replay ME2 up to the point where you meet Liara on Illium
8. Reread Redemption (as sort of a flashback for Liara)
9. Replay the rest of ME2
10. Reread Retribution (maybe hear the audiobook instead)
11. Reread Inquisition, Invasion and Conviction
12. Read Deception (may change, not sure about how it fits into the timeline yet)
13. it is March 6th -> play ME3!!!

Hope I didn't forget anything and I hope I'll get the timing just right .

Sounds extremely awesome, but you should

1) Add "Invasion" in there.
2) Change the order slightly according to the official "Storyline" on the mass effect wikia.

I already did that, twice. I have 7 saves, 3 vanguards 4 soldiers, 6 male 1 female, 2 paragon, 2 renegade, 1 paragade, 1 renegone, 1 completely neutral (that was a tough one). As far as I am concerned, I have enough variety to satisfy my curiosity for ME3.

I have just finished my first hardcore playthrough of ME1 (yay me!) with a Vanguard and have now just taken her into ME2. I'm liking the more challenging fights (though they are not as challenging as I thought they might be) and still enjoying the story. My plan is to get this Shepard through to the end of ME2 and then play my adept canon Shep through from the beginning again so I can have her on hardcore too. I was thinking I might try a sentinel too (I really like the biotic business but have never tried tech). My ideal though would be to time it so the adept is played straight through from ME1 to the end of ME3 when it comes out so I might start that run in January and maybe do the sentinel before that (providing I don't get bored and/or distracted by something else in between). Now it's nearly November, it's only four months to go - getting nearer though I'd prefer it to be March 5th 2012 right now.  OTOH, having never played a Vanguard in ME2 before, I'm finding the charge ability hilarious just at the moment which obviously has its compensations.

Cheers mate! Invasion is in there under point 11 (put them all together 'cause I am not sure about the timeline on those).
Yeah, the order should be about right but it may change a little. Only exception is Redemption, which I think works better in the middle of ME2 (as sort of a Liara flashback).

Working on what I think will be my last one right now. Male vanguard: no romance. The others I've got done are Male adept: no romance, Male vanguard: Liara romance, and Female infiltrator: Kaidan romance. I've also got two I made as new games from ME2 for deliberate sub optimal endings. A male engineer: no romance with Thane, Kasumi, and Tali dead. And a female soldier with Thane, Garrus, Jack, Kasumi, and Mordin dead.

I have finished ME1 and Those Two Dlc's yesterday, and now I have imported the save, level 60 default shep, soldier, and started ME2 and I have to play through all Dl'c that I have downlanded on my 360.

i used to feel guilty about leaving those poor dead salarians in anonymity.  i've come to terms with it however.

Watch that mission play a huge part in ME3. i don't know exactly how, but it would be hilarious if everyone who didn't do it got screwed in some way.

I just started an ME1 run that I don't intend to carry to ME2. Hopefully it'll let you import straight from the first.
