I just started an ME1 run that I don't intend to carry to ME2. Hopefully it'll let you import straight from the first.
Anyone starting over from ME1 before ME3 is release to get a full experience?

ive rolled da default shepard too many times - dis is gonna be my ME3 dude n i want him to have a custom face but im so bad @ it T_T

Because if you're seriously expecting to skip ME2 altogether and still be able to import into ME3, you need to consider revising how the import feature works. And no, it's not the same as skipping ME1 and starting from ME2, if that's what you're thinking.fdgvdddvdfdfbdfb wrote...

I currently have 2 full saves (vanguard femshep renegade and vanguard paragon) and am currently working on the third (infiltrator paragade).
The last one will be a male renegade, not sure what class yet, but I definitely love playing all the way from the start and I'll probably do it again once I've played through all my current saves on ME3.

One and a half more playthroughs of ME1, then I got every achievement and every class played!
Then of course continuing those playthroughs on ME2, and another 1 or 2 ME2 playthroughs, and I´m done! But won´t be able to do all of it till ME3!

For various reasons which I'm not going to repeat here ( I have mentioned them in other posts in these forums ) I find ME1 on the 360 to be almost un-playable, it was a miracle that I finished it once to begin with.
As for ME2, I have done several play through of that game although I almost always make the same choices over and over again ( no variety in my Shepard's ). I recently started several new Shepard's in recent months ( including 1 I created last week ) but I always loose interest very early on in the game. 8 months ago I would have swore on my life that ME2 was the best thing since the invention of the wheel but now my enthusiasm for the game has cooled off quite a bit. The Story in ME2 is very week and like most gamers I was very disappointed with how my decisions from ME1 affected ME2 ( and it is not obvious how your decisions in ME2 will affect ME3 ). Scanning for minerals in ME2 is very time consuming, it kind of sucks all the fun out of re-playing ME2. The combat is good but if I wanted to waste a lot of time playing a 3rd person shooter I would play Gears of War 3 which has better combat and ( a lot ) less talking in between it's action segments, I love games with a good story, heck it's the main reason why I play video games, but as I mentioned before ME2's story is nothing to write home about especially after you have experienced it once. Needless to say I'm having a lot of trouble staying interested in my current ME2 play through.

I'm in the middle of the playthrough for ME3, and that was imported from an ME1 playthrough. Should be interesting to see what my Adept is going to look like by the end of the saga.

I may possibly create a few new saves by the beginning of January or middle. I don't want to use my vacation days playing the mass effect games until I get sick of it.
Until January , I will be playing Skyrim, completing a few PT's of that. Get the DA games do some PT's, and last, finish my 5 PT's of Oblivion.

Well, I have one more run planned, but not really motivated by getting a "full experience", as I'm pretty sure I've got that covered with my 8 characters that will be imported.
It's just that I've seen tweets about the Engineer being awesome, and well... I feel guilty that it's the one class I've always ignored.

I have yet to do a Sheploo run, so I think that will be my last run before ME3 comes out. I want to play as an Engineer, but I'll probably play ME1 as a soldier cause ME1 sucks and is hard to use anything but guns.
In the meantime, MW3 will keep me busy.

Yep, I already have seven finished Shepards (played through ME1 & ME2, my canon Shep through all ME1 & ME2 DLCs) and recently started an eighth Shep. My goal is to have at least ten Sheps 
I like to see variables (especially romance triangles, possible different takes on Paragons/Renegades, different combinations of survivors of the suicide mission, etc...

Wait, I have my canon infiltrator, an adept and a soldier all thorugh both MEs (+ all DLCs), as well a sentinel and an engineer through ME2 only. There are a lot more Sheps partially finished (both ME/ME2 and ME2 only), and I do plan on one complete playthrough when ME3 comes.

If ya want a suggestion, try selecting a preset which has the basic structure your looking for then modify it to your wants. Sometimes a somewhat ugly preset can look rather nice after a bit of work.

I have my canon Shep all ready. Just need to finish a femShep Engineer in ME2, then after that I'll make a new Shep in ME1, import into ME2. Before that though, I have a few games to complete (Arkham City, Uncharted 3 and Skyward Sword).
