One more ME1/2 playthrough and my 4 Sheps are set for ME3

This is why I hope those obnoxious collection quests have absolutely no impact in ME3 beyond an email asking why Shepard wasted his/her time gathering meaningless trivia with the threat of a Reaper invasion on the horizon.

It could be worse.  I usually just drop the difficulty to casual and breeze through it.  Compare this to ME2, where I refuse to play on anything below Insanity.  Oh, what a difference decent combat can make.

I've been playing ME1 on and off for awhile. Whenever I finish I transfer to ME2 and usually finish that play through quickly. So yes, I'm getting ready for ME3. Obviously I'll import my main Shepard first, then go onto the other ones. With ME3 coming out, I went back to make sure I didn't skip over anything import in my earlier play throughs. (:

Once I gave in to sloth, I decided I really only needed my paragon Vanguard Shepard. I don't think anything's going to make me play ME1 or ME2 (short of being bribed with lots of money and/or bacon).

I have a jump drive with all my saves on it just in case something like that would happen.

I lost all my saves  so I am starting over again. but I thing I will wait tell february to start again

I had originally planned on it and have the perfect excuse since I've just switched to xbox for the ME series. Am on my first run now and will do one for each class but soldier.

Mako is better than the hammerhead 

....No...No it's not.

The Hammerhead(and it's missions) are fun, you get to boost, fly, and have a bit of fun.

The Mako(and every f***ing planet) are not fun, you have to drive over the alps, and you get less experience for killing things in a game where reaching the experience cap is impossible to start off with.

After hearing the news about ME3 not coming out till March, I thought I've got plenty of time to fully complete my ME1 playthroughs (every mission, every planet, full level 60 character, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING) for both my LI Ashley and Liara. Not to mention getting those last few xbox360 achievements. But that took only a month.

Now I've imported these saves into ME2 and have got 4 playthrough to do this time (LI for Ashley, Liara, Miranda and Tali). It's great now because i'm seeing some of things thanks to these complete imports that i never saw using my original imports from ME1, (Sparing fist, Helena Blake, Bring down he sky dlc etc). I just hope this will keep me going till the demo comes out in January.

P.S The MAKO rules (at least you can step out of it whenever you like)

Im in the same boat also. My hardrive on my 360 died and I lost 5 years worth of game saves. Im playing through Mass Effect 1 right now and its a little bit of a chore considering I've played it damn near 20 times over the last few years.

I have a male Shep and female Shep ready to go for ME3, but I may make 1 more and go through ME1 and ME2 again. I'll probably start ME1 in February, and if I time it right, I can finish Arrival on the day before ME3 releases.

Actually I may load up my original Shepard again and just use him all the way through both games, since he's my main one.

Well it is softer than a furball in terms of vehicle strength, considering that mako could tkae several hits from a collossus before going down.
