This made me lol, and I have no idea what a "strumpet" is.

It's a more classy word for prostitute.

I see. I now know one word of Australian slang! Probably not one I can throw around a lot, though.

I'm pretty sure she'll look similar to this.

She'll look like Zero-Suit Ashley?  What makes you say?

She probably won't be wearing the exact same skin tight suit. I figure this is a nice upgrade, just put some Cerberus colors on it.

Is she even gonna be in ME3?

I'm sure that if you romanced her, you'll get a nice email from her in ME3. <3

See this is another problem. People get agry about the whole control chip scenario, and hate Miri for the rest of the game.<_<

Can't you learn to see past all that? Miri DOES have character development you know. But instead people who hate her never give her a chance and spend moments in their free time to talk to her.:(

You can say this about any character, there's always something that will keep someone away.

Yeah, but sometimes there's always a certain someone who hates Miri for such a stupid reason. :pinched:

Jack is my least favorite character (no offense), and I have ways to defend that.

That's fine, I can probably see why, but that's what makes us fans all unique!

Off topic but the word origintes many centuries back, long before Australia was colonized by westerners... origin much more likely comes from Britain.

What I like about Miranda is that she naturally doesn't have a purpose and the one that was made for her she didn't accept... so she is trying to build another one. And I find this very interesting.
.
Not to mention the fact she is extremely skilfull in pretty much everything.

As a WELL DEDICATED Mirimancer/Mirimaniac, I look at both sides of the argument. I support Miri on her part as well.
I mean come on, she is my LI after all, and during that point in time, we both have feelings for each other and the scene where my Romantic Relationship with Miri is culminated happens right after the argument about the loss of the crew.

In the end, we would all have to put our heads together and work together to find a way to save our crew. We are all one big family on the Normandy, and we have to stick together to survive this.

^ That's how I think of it every time the scene occurs after the crew is taken.

You guys all know Miri is just a psycho-biatch that happens to look great, right? In terms of insanty level, she really isn't that different from Jack at all.

Flame war in 1..2..3, maybe 10 posts later.

Don't get me wrong here. I love my psycho biatches but that does not change the fact that they are psycho biatches.

Crazy is crazy, no matter how you construe it or rationalize it.

well think about it, if you left the ship and come back to see everyone kiddnapped what your reaction going to be.

Exactly. We just lost the crew at a very bad time. We  are getting ready to fight the Collectors and this happens. Anyone would be mad and frustrated.

When I get p*ssed at the run around given by beaurcrats, etc...I never go off at the poor sucker on the phone, no matter how frustrated or angry I am (it's not their fault)...I demand to speak with the manager instead...I would expect Miranda given her life/death in her hands livelihood to have a somewhat more controlled demeanor than my own....Plus she strongly reminds me of the girls I had the unfortunate experience of schooling with (all girls school)....it has it effects on my perceptions of her....BW did a good job fleshing characters.

Alrighty then, Old english plus Australian slang! It just gets better and better; I'm going to have to find someone to try these out on. Anyone got any riot shields?

I actually want Miranda to look a little bit like she did in ME2 but with some armor, not full body armor like that DLC.

I not have been here long enough, but a lot of people had problems with Miranda's looks?  Was it a lot of men who dislike it or women?   :crying:

catsuit and high heels in combat and total vacuum. And she was supposed to be an officer? I could never take her seriously as a character. She was eye candy, nothing more. Which I find stupid and insulting.

No, her DLC armor with a helmet would be ideal.

I beg BW to please dress Miranda in ME3...body paint outfits just don't appeal.

Body paint outfits have their appeal and their place, and I'm more than happy to go out of my way to look for them.  I, however, don't want them thrust at me considering the character in question has a "woe-is-me" attitude concerning her looks and how she got them.  That tells me either the outfit or the attitude is unnecessary.  And since the outfit is much easier to change I'm going to vote on the outfit.

Ok, I see, kind of like the women officers in the 60's version of Star Trek?

But by the same token, her treatment of Joker at the end of the game was very uncalled for....as he points out, what was he meant to do..."Break his arm at them?"

Joker was responsible for the ship and it's crew. He failed. Miranda scolded him, end of story.

I actually intepret that scene as a show of respect for Joker and concern for the crew. To Miranda, it doesn't matter if Joker is crippled or not, he is a member of the crew, hand picked specifically for that mission, and she holds him to the same standard of efficiency as everyone else.

This.

But he is not...the man has what's akin to glass bones...Miranda should know better and be more realistic as to Jokers abilities, he is a Helmsman, not a Warrior.

I agree that Joker should not have been left in charge of the Normandy in the first place but coddling him because of sickness is much more insulting in my opinion.
