The resources to implement what I envison wouldn't be cost effective, but such are my silly, lofty wishes.

Don't get me wrong, the items themselves are funny if you know about the companion's history and quirks but all they did was say either "shucks, man, thanks!" or "nice gift, you -censored-" not much variation

Were feastday gifts & pranks to be implemented in DA2, I would prefer to have them not *give* friendship/rivalry values, but be *available* based on current in-game levels. For example, if Fenris is at 75% rivalry, a certain item and cut scene gets unlocked. At 75% friendship, a different item and cut scene is unlocked. For me, those items were all about the corresponding cut scenes and dialogue...that's what made them fun and interesting.

I agree, the game needs for sillyness.

Feastday pranks and gifts dlc was pointless garbage. Only good thing it did was get rid of Wynne by crashing her approval.
And I suppose having full control of every character's approval for practically no cost isn't even a little convenient?
Think about it. The gifts and pranks are free from Bodhan's shop. And the items from Bodhan's shop like Thoughtful GIft are unlimited.

Plus 15 to 25 silver wasn't expensive at all for the non specific gifts and pranks.

It gets tiring having to switch party members out constantly trying to get the correct rivalry/friendship values.

Dunno how people can have such a hard time with maxing out Fri/Riv.

Actually, I know exactly how to max out friend/rival for every companion I just don't like having to switch out party members to get it. If I could go through the entire game with mostly the same party it would be nice.
