So the question is simple. Are you willing to accept a few spoilers to see more RPG elements ?

And I'm sure it can be done without spoiling things.
We know all surviving characters are coming back in some form. So why not show some concept art? (unless their new appearance is itself a spoiler)
We know planet scanning is going to be different somehow, so lets see an example
Why not show part of a side mission? Something that demonstrates combat, conversation, interrupts, or whatever without spoiling the main storyline?
More info on workbenches, modding, armor customization
How about info on the new "no import" decision making system?
In other words, something besides shooting, stabbing, exploding people , and "OMG Multiplayer!"

I am fine not getting spoiled and only having combat related trailers, because I know things like the conversation wheel, armor and weapon mods, etc...will still be there. I want ME3 to be a game where coming in to it, I cannot reasonably guess as to what will happen in it.

I'm gonna roll with this answer. Bioware currently has my ME3 pre-order based only on my experience with their past games, which I consider to be pretty enjoyable. But as you've said multiple times, if I hadn't known before-hand that this were a Bioware game, I probably wouldn't be interested at all in what I've seen. It really has been the same stuff shown repeatedly.

Stuff like this would be good, but I think it's the sort of thing we'll be seeing closer to release. You know, when all the little details are nice and polished.iakus wrote...

This.
Also I don't really care about spoilers too much so long as they aren't major ones. Technically knowing there's a Krogan Princess and Cerberus is an enemy are fairly significant spoilers. Would it really kill us to see a few other level segments from a 40+ hour game? (Be nice if we saw squadmates besides Garrus and Liara too at some point.)
I don't really care about spoilers unless the stuff is meant to be surprise. I mean knowing Archangel was Garrus didn't really hamper my ME2 experience as even in-game it's pretty obvious. Now if we're talking about spoilers like knowing all the Geth aren't all bad that's a different story. Really you should only avoid big spoilers like:
As Darth Vader would say: Spoilers do not concern me Admiral. I want to see ME3 - not excuses.

The Mako was boring, the Hammerhead had armor made out of paper and the only thing I enjoyed driving was the damn taxi in LotSB.

They can't show choice without spoiling the game.
We've seen customisation (weapons) and learnt we can customise our armours (stats at least).
We've seen dialogue with an NPC (kid in vents who then got completely wasted by a Reaper)
I say Bioware keep with what they're doing, because it avoids giving out too many spoilers.
Indeed. I'm very happy with the small amount of spoilers shown thus far, hope BioWare keeps it up and doesn't reveal anything about the story right until launch.

No.
No for me as well.
If Bioware releases a trailer that reveals some diologue or story elements, I'm not going to watch and avoid coming to these forums until after the game is released. Sadly, if Bioware does release a trailer that contains a few spoilers the only way to protect yourself from being spoiled would be to avoid the forums. Because more than one idiot will post the spoilers you avoided watching in the trailer in thread titles.

Action- shooter elements of the game
RPG- story- choses you make, world that you discover, character that you interact with and a lot more of game elements.
In the same situation, if switch Shepard weapon gun on sword with same gameplay. I'm sure theres nobody saying that Mass Effect is a shooter
Soooo, NO i don`t need spoilers to see more RPG elements :innocent:

It's frustrating how closemouthed the devs are about anything besides combat and multiplayer. Seriously. That can't be everything there is.

I would have included that in the list, but I don't know if such a thing will exist in ME3. Can't show what's not in the game, right?
I know some people were spoiled by stuff from ME2's advertising, but really, they've ridiculously overcompensated.. Mass Effect is almost unrecognizable as a Bioware game in the ads so far.

I agree 100% with this. It does seem unrecognizable, and I wonder how much of the story has be compromised by multiplayer and the focus continuing to go to the shooting.
Shooting....the least reason I fell in love with ME.

Those weren't put out for ME2 until shortly before the game's release, and besides, did they ever give an ironclad promise they'd make some for ME3?
They did similar ones for ME1 as well, just without narration. Example:

So, it's actually a pretty reasonable expectation for people to have.

It is. They've been asked about vehicle stuff at least twice and answered both times "we ain't talking about this now" which in BioWare PR lingo means "it's in but we plan to reveal it later". If they get asked about something that's not in, they always say it openly. I have no doubts and I can't wait to see how they're handling the vehicle in ME3iakus wrote...
