Im curious about ME2 romance continuation in ME3 game. As we know Kaidan/Ash will be important for ME3 story, and probably we will have a lot of time to stabilize and continue relationship with them. While Devs said once, that all romances will " equal", Im little worry about ME2 LIs fate. It's still a long time before game relase, but some rumours aren't too good. Perma companions we know now are Kaidan\\Ashley, Liara, Garrus and Tali. They all were potential LI, and if it's true, that they are perma companions, we will get a chance to develop romance with them. From other hand, we know nothing about the rest of LIs such Jacob, Jack ( beside fact, that now she have a new hair), Miranda ( I heard that she have some unfinished buisness with Shepard), and Thane.( well, look like he is one mission companion, on Invictus). So are You more optimistic than me, and think that there's more for them than " one mission" or do You think, we will get a new version of " Horizon"?

I think no matter how its handled simply having some romances as perma squadmates and others as temp will mean romances won't be equal.
I do believe we'll be able to continue and finish any romance in me3, but the ones that are non perma squadmates will feel lesser than the ones who will, personally i take the dev comment about romances being treated equal to mean something else.
Basically at some point in me3 we'll reach the point of no return ala ilos, pre sm, and however its handled we'll then have the opportunity for the romance arc to end, so we'll get our usual post endgame romance scene irrespective of who that romance will be with, technically making all romances equal.
Whether they do something like before the end battle with the reapers, every single squadmate we ever had is brought to the Normandy for a briefing on their role, allowing us to finish whatever buisness romance or otherwise with them, or we get to visit wherever they are one last time before facing the reapers.
The problem is though like i said, having Ash as a perma squadmate and Miranda as a temp will always give the impression that the romances are being treated un-equally.
