Bad idea from the start. Taking an RPG narrative and making it into film? Epic fail.

A real fan can't criticize? That'a a bling fan. Even though the movie ain't even in production, the sole fact it's gonna adapt ME1 and thus Shepard IS a valid reason to complain.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...
And don't jinx and lose faith. If you're a real Mass Effect Fan, you should be exicted. Sure you may have concerns, but don't let the concerns overpower you which results in complete anger towards the film.

michael bay shud direct cuz he da best director of all time
If Bay comes anywhere near the movie, I'll start wishing Uwe Boll was in charge. After all, if you're gonna f*ck something up with excessive explosions and car chases, you may as well go for the master of completely bollocksing movies with unneccessary content.
Even that would be better than a movie about Shepard.annihilator27 wrote...
Boll would make Conrad the main character.
This, I'd like to see a new story. People who don't know a thing about ME after all this time can sod off.iakus wrote...
My thoughts?
If I want to see an adaptation of ME1, I'll do it myself. It'll be about 20 times longer than any movie version and will unfold the way I want it to, not someone else's vision.

When people picture a ME movie, they're picturing a $300 million film. If this move happens, it will be lucky to have a budget of $30 million.

If it involved Shepard it will be bad. There should not be a canon Shepard in the series. The books only mention Shepard by that title, no gender, no actions, no description of physical appearance, and that's how it needs to remain as far as the "canon" goes.

Don't care. Won't watch it. Video game movies are absolutely terrible, always.

if they are to make a movie, they said it'll ahe shep, most likely male
1-if it ever is made, it will be at least a year if not 2 or 3 after ME3 is out so they won't care about canon
2-if i can remember correctly, BW tracked the character creations and the majority were male
3-hollywood generally makes action movies with a male lead....
there was a bigger break down of the choices statistically, but http://www.rockpaper...rs-play-female/
