Good DLC. Long too.
Corypheus is a frickin beast. And from all the dialogues(Janeka's dialogues about how the blights are bad for his kind and whatnot and how he could help them end the blights) and codex entries about him. And from his general appearance. I'm convinced that The Architect is one of the magisters too.
Corypheus' voice. Sounds like Doctor Octopus from that '90s Spider-Man cartoon. Right down to the German accent.
Pretty early on he knocked out Hawke, Bethany, and Varric. And I had solo the fight playing as Merrill.
Played and beat Legacy for the first time.

Yeah, I only had Hawke left when I played it. I liked that he was tough enough of a fight where I had to scrap my way through. Overall good DLC to me.

I think the reason they made the Darkspawn look less scary is because in future games the Darkspawn will be 'good guys' (or in other words just not insane and murderous I guess)
Or it could just be because they thought it looked too generic (or both the latter being the main reason.)
Even the Disciple/Messenger guy in Awakening was sort of different to the DA:O Darkspawn in the way his armor looked and the tone and composure of his face.
Anyone get what I'm saying here?

He only looked that way because of the Architect's joining ritual.
Any darkspawn that drinks his Grey Warden blood concoction turns into those.
The Messenger wasn't the only one. There was The First, The Lost, The Withered, etc
