Ok, I'd put down DA:O a few months ago. I'd been playing offline for all my DLC to stay authorized, but I've installed on a new computer now. I made the mistake of installing the Steam version first(not that I have anything against Steam, mind you, just no 1.05 there). Anyway, after installing the Steam version and having no DLC available to me, I half heartedly tried a few fixes there, but ended up just uninstalling it, downloading the Origins manager and downloading Dragon Age from EA.
However, after installing via the Origins manager and installing the 1.05 patch, I still have no DLC. I go into the services and try starting the Content Updater, but the executable path still points to a file that no longer exists in the Steam folder. I'm wanting a method to fix this issue. Copying the file to the correct path just causes it to start and stop automatically. Is there some way to fully wipe the previous install from Steam and reinstall properly from Origin?
Updater service not running due to wrong executable path

Fully uninstall both versions. Use the uninstall utility in Windows to completely uninstall the game. Manually check that the game files have been removed. Re-install using Origin.
Keep in mind that this is a peer support forum and there are very few of us who come in here to help. Official support is through support.EA.com

Yeah, screwing around with installing it with Origin showed me it should be removed during uninstall. The fact that it hasn't been is slightly concerning. I'll have to reinstall to uninstall and hopefully get rid of the service that way. Thanks!
