In all parts of the game from cut-scenes to gamplay I am getting a clear horizontal and vertical seam through the screen. It is very thin but it distorts the visuals and can be very detracting from the game experience. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Just a little FYI:
Installed via Gamestop's Impulse downloader today (since it isn't on steam right now)
Running on XP SP3
Graphics card is an nvidia 9600 GT (all drivers updated)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!:D

The 9600 GT is probably just "too old" to work correctly with the very latest Geforce drivers.

I got this too on my 9600M GT, however only in very few cutscenes. (and always "outdoors") And I'm not on Windows, so the GPU could indeed be the culprit...

The same situation may apply for a Mac driver as well (the two drivers are probably sharing plenty of code) ~ ~ ever since releasing the GT200 GPU generation, the Geforce drivers have been worse and worse for the 8n00 & 9n00 generation cards (same generation, two sets of names and die thicknesses).

This is a bit late, but it just occurred to me that I haven't had that distortion problem any more ever since I deactivated antialiasing (which I turned off because it generated black screenshots).

Cataklysm, if you still follow this thread, will you try this and report back if it works?
