Shame that the Cannibal looked really good in concept art, but really not that great in-game

However the Banshee looks SO SO SO much better than I thought it would, really great

Flashlights are cool. But shouldn't soldiers like Shepard be equipped with night-vision goggles?

Unless fighting in poorly lit areas was not expected.

You'd think something like that would be standard issue in the future, but I'm all for it either way. They'll probably pull the unexpected card on it, and I'm fine with using it as nothing more than an atmospheric choice.

Flashlight levels + Banshees = so much yes

I don't know what's scarier--those friggin' banshees or the return of the red beam of death...

I don't think the red beams will be one-shotters this time, though.

That's why you have shields. To protect yourself from the sniper shenanigans.

Hopefully. Otherwise I feel some combination of bile, fire and brimstone boiling up.

Banshee.

Red beams are more "OH ****!", banshee's looks downright scary.

Althrough I admit I am looking foward to entertaining myself with all the possible army of darkness references when fighting banshees with a shotgun.

You come around the corner and the banshee is standing right there, and you poop your pants becasue you can see it.

Ha. Red beam of death is but a glorified Rocket Launcher. They get roflpwnd by Charge/Andrenaline Rush/Cloak/Drone. It was scary in ME1 because there's no Charge/Andrenaline Rush/Cloak/Drone.

Banshees will mean a lot of dead workers if you didn't scout it in time though.

This is probably how my first encounter with the Banshee will play out.

Other than the new enemies, I'm really liking the environment designs and lighting. Feels so dynamic.

Banshee looks like Medusa. So cool. Medusa was the only monster I feared as a child.

It's a good thing that mirrors have been mass produced since then.

The time that the Medusa supposedly lived, not when you were a child. Though those two eras might be one and the same?
