Hey there, I just discovered that I can endlessly create Firetooth +5's through Cespenar (It still requires 5k gold each time though). The option to make one keeps coming up when I allow him to look through my items. Is this a common bug at all, or is it just my game?

I don't know the answer to your question, but do you have the official Throne of Bhaal Patch installed? There was lots of buggy stuff like that in the unpatched versions of SoA and ToB.

Yeah I do have the latest official ToB patch installed.
Luckily it's obviously not a bad bug so Im just curious about it rather than worried or bothered.

I did a google search but came up with little information, so I suspect it's pretty rare to get this kind of bug.

Check Botsmith.dlg and Botsmith.bcs in Infinity Explorer, this may yield some clues.
What's Needed & Location(s)
Firetooth +4 - Purchased from Sister Garlena on the outside perimeter of Watcher's Keep
Bowstring of Gond - Loot from Captain Egeissag in Sendai's Enclave
5,000 Gold Pieces
It should be checking for the two prerequisite items each time, it is a bug.

It's weird how it thinks I've always got those items, lol (I was even able to make the first Firetooth +5 before I had even killed Captain Egeissag for the Bowstring of Gond).

Ah, it's a nice bug so I'm not bothered on solving/fixing it. I only abused it once by making a second copy of the crossbow (so both Sarevok & Keldorn were kitted out with a nice ammo-less ranged weapon)
With the amount of unfavourable bugs I've encountered during my playthrough I think it's nigh-time I be rewarded

I just glanced through the files on my computer, it seems not to be an official bug, probably just an aberration in your particular game. I did not notice it in my game.
