Not really sure where to post this but this section feels the most appropriate.

I have just finished my first playthrough of ME2 on PC and I have saved my entire team, but not the crew - I have delayed launching the suicide mission for too long and Kelly Chambers as well as Gabby and most of the Normandy's personnel didn't make it which has left me kind of heartbroken and angry with myself despite the overall mission success.

I don't want to start a new game right now (not even a new game +) and I just want to replay the last ~10h of my playthrough (do all loyalty missions before aquiring the Reaper IFF, which I didn't do before). So here are my questions:

1) If I delete all saved games which happened after and during the IFF mission and start from there, will it cause no trouble later and during my save file transfer to ME3? No remaining data to screw something up?

2) I have downloaded Zaeed and did his mission AFTER the crew abduction, so his loyalty will be among the things that gets deleted with those saved games. Will that cause no trouble?

3) Do I even have to delete save games in the first place?

Thanks in advance

You dont have to delete anything. Once you load up the save you want to play from, just overwrite the saves you dont want to keep with the new saves.

ME2 only sets a flag within the save files for having done the suicide mission, it doesnt create a unique save file like ME1.

Got it. Endgame replayed, everybody saved, Shepard's Eleven (literally as I haven't downloaded Kasumi, only Zaeed) are Big Damn Heroes! Thanks again :D

So if I buy, install and play Arrival and LotSB now, continuing my current game, the save files I make after completing them will get carried over to ME3, right?

Thats right. The "SM Complete" flag has been set in the save games, so you can continue to play the other DLC, and side mission, and you'll be fine for ME3 once it finally arrives.
