So... I might just be really weird (or gay, obviously) but I actually started playing Dragon Age with encouragement from my friend and her PS3 forever ago after being told about a suave bisexual elf who sounds like Antonio Banderas, and played a file on her game for eight hours until we got Zevran's romance scene. Needless to say I bought the game myself in a week... (that's not the only reason why I play it obviously, but it is a very fun perk)

Until recently I'd been going off the assumption that Zevran is the only male-on-male romantic option, until a conversation last night proved me wrong - People have gotten Alistair and Oghren too!?

This is bad news for me, because my human rogue Andréa has had his evil streaks around Alistair and he doesn't really like me much now... I have a lot of work to do... But now I'm determined to find every romance option there is and exploit them all!

Any tips you have for this quest for manly men would be a great help, and if you feel like it, share some of your past experiences with unlikely and more difficult options.

If any of you have got Sten I'll pass out.

Zevren IS the only male-on-male romantic option in game, unless you have mods. It may appear that Alistair is flirting with your male PC but a romantic relationship with him is out of the question.

But I've seen youtube videos of a romantic option with Alistair, too... And not just the one scene but a whole conversation.

The people who made the video's must have had Mods installed in their games to enable Alistair to be gay/bi-sexual.
Also Oghren is not a romantic option at all.

THIS! The only bi's in Origins are Zevran and Leliana. Any others you see are the results of mods.

DA2 does have two gay romance options.

Sorry dude, Zevran's the only compaion that will give you man on man love. Alistair, unless you add a mod, is strictly into girls.

Oghren gets drunk and will hit on anything, but no dwarf love either. The only other bi companion is Leliana.

Give Zevran a chance. But if you're on a PC, use my mod ZDF! Zevran's romance has several bugs. Anyway, his romance doesn't finish until later in the game and it really is incredibly sweet. However, if you want to romance Alistair, I also have an optional file that will allow males to romance him, though I don't change any of the dialog so a couple of his comments, especially in banters and such, are not quite appropriate for males (for instance, a few times in banters Wynne refers to the female warden, and there are a few others, though most of the dialogs work fine for either gender).

They're the only bi COMPANIONS. You can get gay loving from the brothel in Denerim, including the infamous threesome/foursome scene...
