Hello,

I have Recently decided to redo the first and second Mass effect to fill in a few alternate "Shepherds" for when ME3 hits.  The last time I played, the download center did not have Mass Effect: Genesis.

I read over the instructions and forums on whats involved with Mass Effect: Genesis and it seems fairly clear.  At the start of ME2, you'll have a quick 15 minute walkthrough where you choose the major development points from ME1. I am nearing the end of ME2 and I want to change some choices I made in ME.

As for my question: Without completely restarting my run through ME2, can I complete the run, and when I do a "Second playthrough" use the Mass Effect: Genesis to change killing the council or not?

Second Question: If I use Mass Effect: Genesis, does it affect other choices that were made in the first walkthrough? Other choices meaning ones that are not able to be altered with Genesis, or does it simply leave those alone?  Does the file overwrite; or add to the current file?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!  :D

No. It will just recap your previous decisions without allowing you to change them.
The only decision you will get to make importing from ME1 -> ME2, is who is Councillor.

If you want to change your ME1 decisions, use the save game editor thats linked in my sig.

Quote from Original Source: "It doesn't just summarize the original Xbox 360 and PC-only Mass Effect from 2007, it simulates the experience of playing it. The comic allows gamers to make six key decisions from the original game and see their ramifications in Mass Effect 2."

It seems like you can make decisions, this goes against what you are saying.

I think you can only make decisions when you start a new game, not when importing. Then it's just a recap.

Yeah, I believe that is the same information I have found as well. Thanks again!
