So far, what we know of Box Creature is that he will be encountered in a pixelated Heretic Geth virtual reality, which, through interaction with his advanced Reaper-tech cybernetics, Shepard has been trapped in. After initial conflict with Shepard's avatar, Box Creature will help him navigate his way to the virtual Geth hub, shutting down their entire base of operations. After exiting the virtual reality, it is revealed that Box Creature, a state-of-the-art Geth-Reaper prototype synthetic-organic construct, is hidden and can be activated at the flick of some switches and the hacking of some terminals. Shepard can optionally recruit Box Creature from this point, to aid in his/her quest to combat the Reapers.
Box Creature is being considered for a new ME3 Romance, and his (Confirmed "his", though I guess we'll only find out why at the love scene!) sexuality has been described as "Boxsexual"; He will be, if you try hard enough, interested in both Male and Female Shepards, and will also have a rather embarassing fetish for rectangular objects.
Box Creature will be voiced by Sean Connery.

Box Creature will be the first "Hard to Get" love interest, as he will originally not be romantically interested in someone not made of four ninety degree angles. However, we've been told that through persistence, true love will conquer all barriers. Box Creature's reaction to Shepard's initial advances:
Bioware wasn't kidding that ME3 will make you cry. At one point in your quest, Box Creature will discover an entire lab full of fellow Box Creatures, ready to be activated. However, Tali will inform Shepard/Engineer Shepard will discover that the Box Creatures have had malicious upgrades due to the failure to control the original Box Creature; If they are activated, this small army will attack. Should Shepard choose to destroy the Box Creatures, an unromanced Box Creature, distraught with lonelieness and grief, will force a fight to the death;
However, good news abounds, as well; Box Creature will have a fully nude Love Scene, although certain revelations have been made as to it's content. We have one shot of Shepard removing Box Creature's armour, however... *Spoiler!* ...it is confirmed he likes it rough; *Spoilerific image*
Also confirmed is a romantic dance and kiss at the ME3 finale for a Mance'd Box Creature. Aww!
Also confirmed are fun tidbits such as Renegade Shepard's addressing Box Creature as his/her "Henchbox", thoughtful conversations between Tali, Legion & Box Creature concerning his sentiency, and Kasumi stealing Box Creature's favourite Rubix Cube, to be resolved by Shepard.
