There are at least four wars/conflicts that we know about (civil war in Orlais, Mage-Templar war, Tevinter-Quinari war, and whatever conflict is brewing with Wardens and probably Darkspawn) Why, for once, dont you make a story where you are trying to resolve things, i dont want to say peacefully, but not in the way where the war is the only focus and the thing above everything. There has to be higher motives behind all of these conflicts, dont forget about Morrigans baby, dont forget about Flemeth being some sort of a diety, maybe an old god or a ancient magister herself. Do not forget about taint and Darkspawn and maker and all those wonderfull things that DA universe have, dont fixate on one things as it being the sole trouble and only problem.
I can easily imagine story where you and few others will find out something that is even far more menacing than current conflicts(as bad as they may be ofc, dont want to diminish wars) and your quest would be to resolve them, make people understand, bring about the end of the conflict, make them open their eyes.
Bring back more than one preset character, one of the best things about Origins was the fact that the world acknowledged who you were, the origin stories were fantastic and for the purpose of showing your around the world perfect. I cant say i disliked Hawke, but it was not my character, it was a preset character, that was saying things i did not want him to say and did things i did not want him to do. Improve upon Origins conversations but let us make our own hero/heroin, do not give us a preset character. Let us explore a little, give us back the replay value of Origins (lets face it, DA II have none)
And most importantly, if you bring back Warden and Hawke (i hope you do) do not diminish their doings, especially Warden's, i for one still cant belive what you have done with Revan in SWTOR (game and the book) Dont destroy the characters we worked on so hard and love so much. Thats it from me.
Peace out
