I do not want to get into it too much but basically. Please do not make it another story "gather people the fight the war". It was original in DA:O and that was only because the world and the quests were amazing. It was trash in ME3 and it should have never been like that.
There are at least four wars/conflicts that we know about (civil war in Orlais, Mage-Templar war, Tevinter-Quinari war, and whatever conflict is brewing with Wardens and probably Darkspawn) Why, for once, dont you make a story where you are trying to resolve things, i dont want to say peacefully, but not in the way where the war is the only focus and the thing above everything. There has to be higher motives behind all of these conflicts, dont forget about Morrigans baby, dont forget about Flemeth being some sort of a diety, maybe an old god or a ancient magister herself.  Do not forget about taint and Darkspawn and maker and all those wonderfull things that DA universe have, dont fixate on one things as it being the sole trouble and only problem.
I can easily imagine story where you and few others will find out something that is even far more menacing than current conflicts(as bad as they may be ofc, dont want to diminish wars) and your quest would be to resolve them, make people understand, bring about the end of the conflict, make them open their eyes.
Bring back more than one preset character, one of the best things about Origins was the fact that the world acknowledged who you were, the origin stories were fantastic and for the purpose of showing your around the world perfect. I cant say i disliked Hawke, but it was not my character, it was a preset character, that was saying things i did not want him to say and did things i did not want him to do. Improve upon Origins conversations but let us make our own hero/heroin, do not give us a preset character. Let us explore a little, give us back the replay value of Origins (lets face it, DA II have none)
And most importantly, if you bring back Warden and Hawke (i hope you do) do not diminish their doings, especially Warden's, i for one still cant belive what you have done with Revan in SWTOR (game and the book) Dont destroy the characters we worked on so hard and love so much. Thats it from me.
Peace out :)

What I would love to see is the race customization again from dragon age origins so you can be a dwalf or an elf or a human again because if their is no race picking then bio ware have made Dragon effect instead of dragon age

I'd also just love to be able to play the PC game with a (360) controller, I love the comfort of that. I prefer playing with a controller over keyboard and mouse.

My thoughts on Inquisition are 1 if we want old party members we should be able to recruit them from origins or dragon age 2, if we don't want them then set it up so we can recruit new party members or a combination of both. There is much to be said for dragon age 2 in regards to the graphics and artwork but play was not so great in 2 DAO however had more epic storyline and better character development I thought.

i personally want crafting similar to never winter nights for instance choosing blade style hilt and pommel and then material red steel, dragon bone and adding stuff to it to increase stats like 10 deathroots give you +4 to strength

I think they should make it so mages have more than one background... Or make it so mages can play all the backgrounds (besides the Dwarfs). :) only due to the fact that not all family's are going to turn there kids in, ( also I love playing as a mages ^_^)

Why would deathroot (a poison) give you +X Strength?

As for the point being made, I have to disagree. Just because you're an awesome savior of the world shouldn't mean you're a master weaponsmith, too. Crafting potions is one thing, yet, even in DA2, Hawke didn't craft potions, a person who specializes in crafting potions crafted them. I prefer DA:Os approach, with an awesome smith you built a rapport with who crafted things for you when you found awesome materials. The herbalist quests in DA2 follow along these lines as well. As for you finding time to save the world and learn to smith armor and weapons? Just seems far fetched.
