If anything, it looks decidedly last gen. The little snippets of combat aren't any more impressive than GTA4.

The one thing I took away from the gameplay trailer was that the money counter in the top right corner looks the same as it did in SA.

it looks like they are trying to make it less of a chore this time around with the sports mini games and such. Like I'd imagine the diving and tennis games will improve stats like lung capacity and stamina. Hopefully they're actually fun to play.

I actually got the 100% completion in San Andreas and got the stupid tshirt for it. So I know very well how god damm annoying it was to do all those stupid side missions and grindings.

The reason why I loved GTA IV was because I could simply enjoy the main missions instead of getting sidetracked into doing random challenges that were nearly all impossible to do.

It just bugs the hell out of me when I can't complete a challege or max out my stats. *head desk*

I've never been into the GTA games, but very much enjoyed RDR. I agree with some of the comments above that the gameplay clip looks pretty dated. My other big beef with my brief GTA experience is the clunky combat. I'll wait to see the reactions.

If you were to guess, how many hours of play for GTA 5? Are we talking ME (25 ish) or Fallout (100+ ish)? Thanks in advance.

Yup it is! Just shows how big the map of GTA V is. Although I wish we could see how much bigger it is then Red Dead Redemption and San Andreas.
