And if the heist members had more to them than just the heists, Paige and Taliana would've been even more awesome

And there's the issue, Yes they are cool, but in the grand scheme of things they are simply minor characters. They are not on the scale of past big female characters in R*s past games. At best we have people like Tracey, Amenda ect. Sex objects.AresKeith wrote...
@Zjar I agree Franklin's ex should've had more appearances

The one time I skimped on the cheap member he fell off his bike mid-escape. Never again.LPPrince wrote...
Taliana was ridiculously awesome, only took 5% of the cut and was reaaally good. Paige was good too, but she asked for 15%. I still used them both.
I tried calling her more than once during the game just to see if something happened. I'm still a bit confused by how little she appears...AresKeith wrote...

1. Atleast your able to pick up the money after he crashes lol
2. Yea, I found that part with his ex to be wasted potential for both characters

Do all the inexperienced-character failures let you pick up the slack like that then?? That was the only one I saw.AresKeith wrote...

I don't really know, but their stats wouldn't be able to increase if they automatically fail every heist
Plus there's the opinion on how to play the heists

That excuse loses weight when all female characters are sex objects, sleep around or are just rude with no such thing as a strong female character unlike say RDR that has a bunch of strong female characters who are not turned into sex objects, jokes or just plain ****es. Satire.
Its one thing for all the male characters to be misogynistic, that's fine as satire. Its another thing when every female plays to there misogyny.

I tried to purchase a restaurant as Trevor but these people called the cops on me as I approached the sign since most folks do that even if he's just minding his own business. After the ensuing cop chase I returned to the business and had to make sure there weren't any more 'distractions' and it worked and the cops didn't even show up. Trevor is a sick, twisted, rotten to the core human, but he sure makes even the most rudimentary of tasks an adventure.
I tried to join that cult though the internet as Trevor. There reply, "we don't want you. "

Nope. If it was reverse I would also be complaing. I don't like when companies who have done strong characters for a gender in the past then drop it like a bag of flour. This is not about gender soley, this about characters and how weak and simply unmemeorable the female characters in GTAV where compared to older R* games and other games that came out this year(LoU, Infinte and SR4)General Slotts wrote...

I think the only time where an inexperienced goon didn't die for me was at the last heist, let me say that. But I only brought 1 inexperienced goon for that job.nerdage wrote...

Satire is ment to be funny, it was not funny. R* failed at it's own satire.

Yeah. I agree. It lacked a few female memorable characters this time. Loved Tanisha too, and disappointed that she didn't appear much. Also, Franklin is a loser to let this woman go without even fighting hard.Zjarcal wrote...
I'll bow out of this discussion with something to make the point clearer. Every previous GTA game has had at least one competent and memorable female (for me at least).
GTA 3: Asuka and even Maria to a lesser extent (she's the one who saves your from Salvatore after all)
Vice City: Mercedes, ****ty and all, was more than capable of holding her own.
San Andreas: CJ's sister and Catalina (totally crazy but certainly capable and even gets the best of CJ)
GTA IV: Michelle (revealing herself as a spy is one of the most memorable moments of the game for me), and Kate, who may actually have been the only true decent person in the entire GTA universe.
GTA V: .... seriously, I don't remember any female at all.
Maaaaaybe Franklin's ex, her small role is actually pretty neat. I would've liked seeing more of her, but we barely get 2 minutes.
So just to make it clear, it's not a morally sound female I missed, it's simply a female that was actually worth remembering that I missed.
I really didn't like how Rocktar dropped this character in the story.
I wonder why they put that blonde girl on the back of the box by the way. She never appeared in the game. There was also that woman working in the FBI, threathening the terrorist with a baton in his ass. She had a lot of potential, Too bad.
And for Michelle, I felt the same.

No. He's very well written and feel realistic. There are mad men like him in real life. Trevor is better written than any mad man written by Bioware. And yet, I didn't expect anything from GTA in this area. ( anyways the three characters are well written and feel realistic )Mr.House wrote...
Instead, we get Trevor, one of the biggest pile of crap I have ever seen in a video game.
I love this character from a writting point of view ( even if I want to kill him ) and kudos to Rockstar.

Lol yes! I like how they actually had lube available apparently, those FIB people sure have everyting planned.
Oh and the blonde girl is basically the equivalent of lollipop girl from GTA IV, eye candy for the cover. Disappointing that neither of them actually made it in in their respective games, they actually could've worked as neat easter eggs.

Well, I think I'm misunderstood. I meant I didn't play GTA for its story or characters unlike Bioware's games. I didn't expect anything in this area. I just wanted to play a gangster, having fun, and not bothering too much with the story, except when it was funny. I've just realized recently how they could write good characters.J. Reezy wrote...

It's a Rockstar tradition. There is always a female on the cover who has nothing to do with the actual game
Oh and the FBI Lady was Karen/Michelle from GTA IV. Seems like her "they made me an offer I couldn't refuse" excuse isn't working anymore.

Not to be nitpicking you guys, but the people who threatend that guy was IAA. Mike & co invaded that building on the FIB orders
