Well, we have Michael saying it's really bad to treat badly women, and we should respect them. Just wanted to give this fact.

The same, for the homophobe ( son of Michael ), finally getting a gay friend toward the end.

And Trevor that blames racism and praises multiculturalism.

There are even examples of Trevor being protective of Michael's family; specifically, Amanda and Tracey. After all, Trevor is the one who dragged Michael down to stop Tracey's Fame of Shame audition. He also says in a conversation with Franklin (during a hang-out invitation) that he would never harm Michael's family.

Yep.  And that's why he's so well written. Despite being insane, he is still human, with good sides.

Trevor. The same POS who destorys Debras place then get's pissy at her when she is mad and kills her. Ya.... Using Trevor in that sentance ruins your point.

That was for the continued prosperity of Trevor Phillips Enterprises.

This is a point I made elsewhere. I guess I should post it here.

"How many female bank robbers have there been? Arms/drug traffickers? How many female, real world equivalents of Tommy Vercetti, CJ or Niko Bellic? Even Franklin, Michael and Trevor?

There aren't many. Good luck in your search. There could be a more vital role for female characters in GTA, but I'm not sure protagonist is the spot. Reality helps shape and dictate these games (and pretty much every game that has ever existed), and the majority of real world criminals that are involved in the type of activities that a GTA protagonist is involved in are men. That is not an opinion. That is a fact."

That's how I feel about it. I don't think Grand Theft Auto is some crusade R*/R* North has been on to corrupt the view of women in the Western world. It's just...Grand Theft Auto. If you don't what it's about, don't play it. It's a pretty simple concept.

Again, all past games had at least one major female character who could hold her own.

Define "hold her own" as I can't seem to recall any in San Andreas - Catalina was at best a subplot and a nod to fans who played GTA 3 since she's the main villain in that one, plus the mute MC from the same game shows up. She's not really all that important to the overarching story, which I imagine is freeing his brother and kill the traitors. CJ's sister is probably the closest to what you're thinking of though if I'm understanding you correct. Vice City had no female 'major' characters far as I can remember -- I only remember lots of characters in GTA 3 & IV (the hispanic drug dealer had a certain amount of role & Michelle).

So, anyone fancy telling me what is the point of three different endings? Especially where the best ending/choice is actually a good ending and ends on a happy note, no negatives at all.

And the kill Michael option. Just why? You can choose to save him after you try to kill him? Lol what.

Doesn't matter if you choose to save him after you chose that ending- Michael headbutts Franklin and falls to his death anyway.

The other two endings are for the people who dislike Trevor or Micheal and want to kill them off. No point in taking those endings unless you really want to kill one of them.

Technically, we haven't seen all the major characters in GTA V yet.

Their might be a major female character in GTA Online that can hold her own.

You don't know that when the choice comes up though. Both the kill options gain you an ally to play against the other (FIB vs Devin); I thought that would be important when I made my choice, but then the game just ended...

C would have been fine if you know, you got it by working towards it instead of being handed to you on a silver platter. A is still the best ending to the game.

When you have to choose a bunch of endings, and none of them challange you to get it, they should have their pros and cons. When a ending is clearly better and intended it should be something ot earn, not given to you on a silver platter. That's poor design.

I didn't do what Devin wanted me to, but given that he got Michael's house raided by Merryweather he's not entirely without means.

C should've ended with Franklin dying to save Trevor and Michael, fitting the criteria of "deathwish".

...and? That's it? Frank dies and it fades to black? What happens to Michael and Trevor? How were they captured? Do they escape? Are all three of them dead?

Or better yet, Trevor trips while they are pushing the car and falls into the water and is killed by the car explosion.

Perfect ending! :wizard:

Being part of a subplot doesn't mean she wasn't portrated as a capable woman, plus it was a subplot that was given good development. <_<

Deathwish is a bit of a Disney ending of sorts..

But I kinda wanted a Disney ending.  Even for Trevor.
