Managed to get through, but as soon as my girl walked into a car for the race it failed and disc'd, lol - Noooooooooo

Actually I don't know since I can't even join GTA online. But since many people and apparently not only on the bsn have lost their first character ( those who were among the first ones to play I guess ) I'm not optimistic at all. :/

After having to recreate a character a couple of times, I just now realized your lifestyle also affects how much money you start off with.

It also reflects your character's starting clothing - Should you choose to boost your 'legal activity' metre your character's clothes becomes more fancy. My character's clothes has changed though, for some reason.

Yup that too. I kept illegal activity to a minimum because I don't want to have all the thug bruises. I don't know if that's permanent or whatnot.

It can affect a bit your face too, like too much illegal work. I have not managed to find out how to maximize the initial shooting though, it seemed pretty random in this area, according to what I valued or not.

Yeah we should, once Rockstar social works. It didn't work earlier... Don't know if it has changed.

Me? I finally got the race to start but it's just me and Lamar. Last time I tried to join a session after thinking it might let me play with others but it just ate my character haha

Wow. Bad luck

Otherwise, you shouldn't be alone with Lamar if it is your introduction in GTA online world. I got eight players ( including me ) during this first race. Either there were no players online or it is something else, another mission.

After spending the past hour connecting/reconnecting, I'm just going to wander around and hope people join my session haha. Shoulda stayed in that game where I dropped out of the sky

Edit: Oh. What the hell. I delivered the drugs in the first mission and all of a sudden there are people on the map. Go figure.

How long's the wait to get into the race?

I'm assuming this game lets you play post ending, so how does it handle any possible character death? Does the game just return to a period pre-ending?

You keep playing post-ending, but whatever character you killed is unavailable to you because they're...well, dead.

Meaning any of their content you didn't finish is locked off to you.
