**** Niko, get it together.

Actually, that Hobo looks like Niko, because it's a joke.

Michael Hollick(or whatever his name is), made some declarations about how R* paid him too little for what he did, and that guy right there looks like Niko to make fun of that.

Now that's the real muthaf**king talk!!!  (CJ, Tommy,Niko)

Oh and his Serbian is just awful.

Nothing officially confirmed, but apparently the game will only take place in Los Santos (no San Fierro or Las Venturas). This is speculated because of Rockstar's wording on their site.

Didn't you watch the trailer?

It looks like it's entire San Andreas!

It looked like Las Santos and the nearby countryside, I didn't see Las Venturas or San Fierro.

I guess it won't be like GTA2. Driving around and around town in a cab while listening to "Taxi drivers must die" and the money just keeps rolling in.

It wasn't like that in GTA4 or san andreas :/

I highly doubt Niko will be in the game at all. CJ definitely could be in, Tommy is almost a definite.

But Claaaaaaaude...

Wow they are looking great. Graphics look clean and crisp, much better than GTA IV, which just seemed kinda dirty. Can't wait, but what platforms is this for? I hope its available for PC.

Should be on 360, PS3, PC I'm not sure if at launch or as an after release, Wii U maybe.

Or it could be next Gen. Given the annoucement with those two pictures says they arn't in a posiition to show more, I question if we'll even see the game in 2013.

MMMMMM My body is ready.
I don't care what anyone says the GTA series have been top notch since the first and I part of growing up has been this series. I have complete faith in Rockstar. I'll take some realism over the borefest that was SRTT any day.

I ain't troll'n I found it tedious and I still don't know why I bothered finishing it.  I'll play the much better SR2.  GTA4 did not bore me at all.  I'm even considering a new playthrough soon.

Confirmed
Game is set in Present Day
Game is set in Los Santos
Will include hills, countryside and beaches
Story focuses on the pursuit of money
Game will feature Online Multiplayer
In addition to all that, you can get the Grand Theft Auto V logo as a wallpaper in various sizes from Rockstar's download section here or get the largest version right here. Playing Poker might be a good way of earning some extra cash!

Ah well we all like differing things, I'ld guess you liked GTA SA alot as well? To me it was a good title but Vice City was the GTA game I liked alot for its over the topness. SRTT I like parts of, but I hope they tone back a little towards the story of SR2, for SR4. I doubt it though THQ is more than happy to cast of the old "gangsta" base, for the current larger one. Though I never liked the "gangsta" crap anyways, my guy in SR2 always was dressed as a ninja lulz. Anyways back on topic..

Its a shame the level is so much smaller, but prices have to be paid for a pretty picture. Still I'm wondering if we'll see it as a this Gen release or not.

Say what you will about Rockstar-- even if the sort of games they make have always been well on the sleazy side-- they deliver. They have big giant budgets; they make big giant worlds with a ton to do in them; the they have good writing and voice acting and are loads of fun to play; and they don't bull**** their customers with a mountain of PR talk about what they are going to do: they show a couple trailers and then deliver a great gaming experience. There's no distractions or broken promises or nasty DLC schemes: they make what they want to make and you can take them or leave them. The GTA games are arguably as much an RPG as what Bethesda has done lately; but the writing and story is actually superior.

And up until GTA4 you could say that RS were still doing it old-school: there's the story, and then there's the game-- and the game part was actually still a GAME. The goofball fun stuff was compartmentalized from the story part, and nobody got confused about which was which-- they were too busy having fun.

It's going to be interesting to see which direction V goes, having seen IV and MP3. I hope they correct their mistakes from IV-- the two major ones being the over-focus on narrative control over the player and the lack of earning money being meaningful. That they mention "earning money is the goal" sort of makes me think they've fixed at least one of the problems.

Because killing someone with a chainsaw, taking pictures of "Martha" seeing spillberg direct porn, a football player with a chopshop, a plane dropping porn film advertisements, a guy that shoots birds in his front yard in the middle of a city, a voodoo woman who looks like shes from a syrp bottle, Burt Reynolds having you to fly a toy helicopter to chop people up and then blow up said building, and toy airplanes that fly into boats and blow up, and a mean lady that has you selling drugs from an icecream truck, and a gang of cabbie drives who all want you dead, and is part of the story missions, isn't goofball at all.

Have you ever played Vice City? Almost every mission in that game was fantastic, and nuts.

One thing that is deffently needed back from eariler GTA's is the Double Cliff FM.
i seriously miss the classical and opera station.
drive bys, riots, cop chases.just totally chaos was perfectly fitted with that radio station.

before the interent i use to spend hours as a kid playing gta III.killing and being a dick to the greatiness that is Double cliff FM.made the game a classic for me

Lol I really wish more games like that had those songs, that was my biggest gripe with SRTT, it didn't have any of the songs from SR2.
