Examples from GTA4 that trigger epic gaming rage:
Sleep is Impossible
One Vision - at 33 seconds I could see Trevor laughing maniacally whilst heading straight towards a heavily fortified police blockade with US armed forces in pursuit.

Its impossibru. Or is it?
Change your spawn location in the Online settings from your apartment to your last location. Then make sure you're in a super car THAT YOU OWN and modify it with the most expensive upgrades you can afford before leaving Online. Join it again.
You should spawn outside with your super car. Then drive to a Los Santos Customs, and park your car nearby.
Find any ride(motorbike, car, etc etc) and steal it. Take it to Los Santos Customs, the one by your super car.
Go to sell. Click on sell until it gets to the "are you sure" message. Don't sell the ride.
From there, press start, then the left bumper, then hit A(or whatever the equivalent is on PS, can't remember its been a while) twice.
It'll take you to a marketplace thing, or it might not if it says its unreachable. Irrelevant, just back out of that marketplace or screen.
You'll know it worked if you spawned in your super car. If you did, drive it into Los Santos Customs, and sell your car. But IMMEDIATELY after selling it, you must hit start, then the left bumper, then A twice.
You'll get sent to that marketplace again, back out of it. When you get sent back down, you should be inside of Los Santos Customs in your super car with the option of selling it again.
Repeat the steps until your console freezes(my current situation). The game saves after every transaction so you'll always keep your money should something mess up.
If you accidentally sell the car and actually lose it, thats okay. Wait 48 minutes real time and try again.
The more expensive the car and the more expensive its upgrades, the more you'll make from it.
I've been selling my modified Adder for around 223,000 dollars each time. Takes about half a minute each sale.

Is there anyway you can OWN a chopper or plane (and call it in w/ Pegasus) without paying for it?
The price on the choppers is through the roof, I keep getting hit with missions that require them, and the helipads magically go dry when I start the mission.
The only way I can think of involves owning your own helipad and storing one there between missions. I think Trevor might come with a helipad where you can store them. I kept a chopper for ages after one of the earlier missions out there.
I should have specified.
In GTA ONLINE is there a way to own a helicopter without buying one, as there is no helipad to buy.

I think you'd have to buy one, yeah. If you're okay with finding one every time, there should be one at Trevor's airstrip/hangar, even Online.
There is, but it VANISHES during missions that require a helicopter, which are getting rather common.
Thus I would like to steal it permanently rather than temporarily.

Ahh, that sucks. In such a case, I think you'll have to invest in a purchasable chopper. My assumption is that after buying it, you'd call someone on your phone and it'd appear for pick up at the airport.
That's exactly what happens..
but purchasable choppers cost a FORTUNE!! >
Cheapest one I saw was almost 800k.

You don't even need a super car to do it, you can do it with a bike or whatever, it'll just give out smaller returns.

I'm pretty humbled by sheer amount of quality present in almost every single aspect of this game. Everything GTA V does, it does very well. World is beautiful, surprisingly huge, surprisingly detailed. Brilliant zone design.
Some of the mini games have mechanics superior to actual games. There are tennis games with poorer implementation of the sport. Flight model in GTA V is superior to any other effort bringing a plane to console.
Quality present in writing/dialogue and sheer amount of character in characters took me completely by surprise. Never seen video game with as good dialogue. Never seen such amount of personality present in characters of a video game. Walking Dead being a possible exception. Unlike Walking Dead, GTA V is actually..well, a game so I guess it has that goin for it.
All radio channels are utter shït. Rockstar should have been more aware of no good music having been released since early 00s.
. It is difficult to feel you are wrecking havoc when leaving world with a trail of any kind is imposible. Everything always disappears, despawns, resets. Cars disappearing remains every bit as bad issue as it always has been. The beautifully wrecked, bloody, dented, scracthed portrait of road rage you turn your car into inevitably either disappears or gets magically renewed to pristine condition. No point tuning or modding cars since you always know you can't really do anything relevant with them; anything beyond sunday driving eventually leads to situation where the car just disappears.
I like it how illusion of leaving trail in world in less..conventional ways has been pursued: When Trevor moves to the city, his..corruption gradually seeps in and just taints and destroys the apartment:D Blow ship up during a mission and it stays that way. . Ofc, this is all smoke and mirrors rather than anything truly dynamic. Still, I found it pretty fun and atmospheric.
There is no challenge in this game. It has sold like..what, 20 million copies now. I bet none of those 20 million people have felt " this mission is too hard for me:( I really need to practise and master my craft this in order to complete it!" This kinda sucks.
Missions themselves, dialogue during them and everything else in GTA V is so goddamn fun that it is easy to forgive and forget. Shortcomings and bugs disappear from memory soon as I turn my back. Just like my Hexer bike doesD:
Never enjoyed GTA games all that much. SA, GTA IV got abandoned after some 10 hrs in maybe. After 60 hours in Sand Andreas, GTA V lands easily in my own Top 10 games ever list.
I am extremely happy such deserving game ended up being most bought video game yet. It has always irked me how such title has belonged to some ADHD bullshït FPS or another for years now.
OMFG+/10

I've yet to try removing auto-aim. Can def imagine it makes things more difficult. It doesn't increase challenge in exceptionally..heart warming way though. Removal of auto aim feels bit too much like me trying to help game be more difficult. I miss having this feeling of game trying to defeat the player. There are way too many safetynets everywhere. Merciful amounts of checkpoints, bronze taking very little effort, all three special abilities. Even pursue of gold medals is done in very forgiving way. It'd be overly generous to say GTA V isn't an exttremely easy game.
I'm terrible with pads and haven't really played a console game properly since FF VII in late 90's. Yet, I've had absolutely no dififculties at all with single one of GTA's missions.
Again, I find the above easy to forgiv. Game is awesome.. but goddamnit.
I just came across a crashed UFO underwater:O Too bad it was as Trevor so nobody will ever believe me:( There are like 4-5 mini games or niche slices in GTA V that makes me think " goddamn it, there should be a full game around this!!" Searching stuff underwater on sub is def one of them. It is very relaxing and atmospheric and I wanna do it in a game dedicated to it. Sea and physics of waves in GTA V are done ridiculously fine for a game that isn't all about sea.

It's also weird to say I have a thing for Mary Ann? These strange and freaks missions are the best thing in the entire game. My favourite one is those two cheesy border cops that Trevor meets.

- first console game I have played with any proper devotion in 10 years or so.
- First video game in 10 years or so that makes me to stop playing it solely because of a bug I can do nothing about.
Once I finished the main story, my in-game Internet broke down, trying top open it makes minimaps disappear. Very long time back I stopped doing Lester's Assassination missions solely due to wanting dat heist money to play with on stock market. So this is a gigantic bummer.
Rockstar can only offer useless bullshït in terms of advice;
They offer two varieties of sagely wisdom:
- Ah but see, we fixed this issue like a month back:) It apppears your PS3 is not online, otherwise you wouldn't have this bug:) (my PS3 most assuredly is online, my GTA V is updated)
or
- You can fix this issue yourself by uninstalling GTA V and starting a new game:)
Thanks Rockstar!
Edit
...Apparently problem is with eyefind.info, not net as a whole. For some reason, something or another about finishing main story can break the home site.Which, in turn, then breaks your entire game.
I found a partial answer somebody had found:
You can't open net via smartphone or a laptop. HOWEVER!
You can access net just fine if you visit it through a link provided in
some in-game email or another. (Press square on PS3 while reading an
email with link) Downside here is that in-game mail survives only 2
in-game weeks appparently? So, eventually you run out of links to click.
QUESTION RELATED TO ABOVE:
Is there some way in-game, afer finishing the main story, to generate
mails with links in them? If yes, it'd make perfectly fine temporary
solution to problem above.
I tried buying some planes and cars and stuff, but none of the transaction emails game sends has any links in them.
