Yeah I'm also getting a little bored of it and erring more on random street deathmatches and messing around than missions. I'm crossing my fingers that the upcoming DLC will add more variety.

Well, after an extended break, I've finally come back to GTA Online. A few races here and there, bought a Bifta(love this vehicle, hah), but mostly I just make an invite only lobby and chill out, having the city to myself.

Just now, I bought Aislin some camouflage clothing and had her take the Bifta up a mountain around the top right of the game world. Things got interesting when at the top of the mountain her Bifta got stuck on a boulder and was thus inoperable.

So, she ran, flipped, fell, and got tossed all around on her way down the mountain. The expedient, yet dangerous path, but hey she survived. Spotting train tracks and an incoming cargo train, she made a dive and hitched a ride in one of the empty cars of the train.

Beautiful view of the surroundings, leaning on the side and taking it all in. The train was going into the city which was great since her goal was to get back to her apartment, so after quite some time on the train, she hopped off in a rather seedy part of the city.

S'all good, she decided to hike back home rather than call her mechanic to grab a ride(like her Bifta, hahaha). Had to run around a bit but had a nice jog through the city before making it back under her own roof for a shower.

I've never been so upset that I wasn't recording...

 

I had accidentally blown up my Vacca in GTA V during a mission with other players. Between missions, I decided to branch off and pay the $3000 fee to get my car back. I grabbed an Annihilator from the Sandy Shores airport, and flew all the way back to Los Santos to grab my car.

 

When I neared Mohr's, I leapt from the helicopter, and figured I'd grab another chute landing from the last 100 feet (still working on the Plat trophy for that one.)

 

Once in free fall, I nosedive for about 8 seconds, closing the distance to the ground very quickly. My timing is bang on perfect as I pull out the 'chute with about 70 feet to spare, coming in to full control just in time to double-bumper a perfect landing literally at the door to my Vacca.

 

That's when I hear the sounds of a helicopter, and have just enough time to think to myself, "Oh, shi...*" before the Annihilator lands on top of me, killing me, and blowing up my Vacca again.

So the PS4, X1 and PC version will be out in autumn. I'm gonna play on PC.

Exactly, my copy works fine. No reason to buy a slightly prettier version right now.

Yeah with an exception of PC gamers I don't really see the worth of it. I hope our GTAO saves transfer over.

So Heists are (supposedly) being released on March 10 for GTA V.

 

I believe this makes one and a half years after they originally announced them.

 

I can't help but wonder if most of the people playing now even know that the game was supposed to have heists, anymore. All the high ranked players that I used to run into appear to have stopped playing, and when I can find people on a mission, it seems to be low to mid-ranked players.

 

I don't know for sure, but I get the sense that this might be an example of making people wait for something for so long that they actually lost their audience over it.

Had a friend play some more of his PS4 copy as I watched recently. I saw how Michael was getting after his kids, his son for not initially wanting to go on a bike ride, and his daughter for being at a boat party.

He tried to do the stock market exploit for single-player, but we saw that it was patched. He was really looking forward to it.

I literally, actually, completely honestly, accidentally bought GTA V for the current gen. Not even joking.

 

I played a bit of it(since I already had on the 360, its not like its new to me). Haven't finished it. Will though, eventually. I don't tend to do second playthroughs unless a game has replayability.

 

Don't care for heists. By now, I doubt I'd be able to play them with anyone who's a friend of mine.

Looks nice, but it seems to be more realistic than even GTA4, so I'll most likely pass on this title, unless something major happens to change my mind.

Originally they were gonna be a colossal waste of time, like any other GTA Online mission.

 

Then Rockstar decided to put the work in to make them better.

 

Then they scrapped it and started over.

Hella late, but here's another GTA V review. Fair review tbh.

 

He's spot on. I still might get the game, but when he mentioned one mission involved stacking boxes I was having darts and dating flashbacks.
